First & last time at Jack Flat BBQ. Extremely overpriced for very under whelming food. Everything must be ordered separately giving them the opportunity to overcharge if you are not paying attention. Portion size compared to price is ridiculous. 2 drinks, 1 burger, Mac & cheese, considered an appetizer (size of a small Macdonald poutine), 2 mini jalapeno poppers...tax & tip over $100...for food that was not good. Go anywhere else for that money to have a better meal.
Service & atmosphere, very nice.
They need to rethink the menu/pricing concept for a second or third visit from a customer.
Nous sommes allés au Jack Flat Bbq à Laval pour vivre l'expérience du BBQ Texan!! Nous sommes partis de Joliette, donc 1h de route que nous n'avons pas regretté!!! L'ambiance était super, la bouffe était vraiment bonne!!! La viande est exceptionnelle & même les burgers & la poutine (qui ne sont pas la spécialité de l'endroit) étaient succulents!!! & que dire du service de notre serveur Jean-Christophe (que l'on a pu voir dans la vidéo de Shahin & Gurky). Un très très bon service avec une bonne explication du menu & de bonnes suggestions. Allez-y, vous passerez une excellente soirée !!!

La meilleure poutine que j'ai mangée au Québec, sans hésitation! Elle est tout simplement incroyable.
Mais ce qui mérite tout autant d'être souligné, c'est le service à la clientèle. Une erreur s'était glissée dans ma commande &, honnêtement, en 2026, on dirait que c'est devenu rare de tomber sur un service aussi humain. La personne au téléphone m'a transférée à son gérant, & j'ai été impressionnée par sa bienveillance, sa politesse & son professionnalisme. Il a réglé la situation avec beaucoup de douceur & un réel souci de satisfaire le client.
Des erreurs, ça peut arriver partout. Ce qui fait toute la différence, c'est la façon dont elles sont gérées. & ici, c'était exemplaire.
Merci pour cette belle expérience. Je vais continuer à revenir, autant pour la poutine que pour la qualité du service
Nourriture excellente. J'ai pris la salade césar & la poutine au porc effiloché. C'était succulent ! Bon service & bonne ambiance également. Je recommande.
Excellente nourriture! Ailes de poulet, brisket, smashburger & poutine : tout était délicieux!! Ambiance bruyante mais ça fait pleinement partie de l'expérience : c'est vivant, chaleureux & assumé, exactement ce qu'on s'attend à vivre ici. Personnel super gentil & serviable. On a adoré!
Ok food, however it's very pricey for what you get at times. For example, 1/2 pound of certain types of meat, which comes with no sides of any kind, are somewhere between 20-30$. For St Louis cut of ribs, this comes to 20 something dollars for 4 ribs. Kind of ludicrous considering there's no sides with that.
We usually go when they have $30 for bucket of 60 wings & share a pitcher of beer.
This time around, I got a pulled pork poutine. Pork is one of the cheapest proteins around. Potatoes are the cheapest vegetables around. It was $25. The pork was not pulled pork. There were large chunks & most of it was not pulled apart. It was sliced pork. I make my own smoked pulled pork & it's better than what I was served. I barely tasted any smoked flavour. For a smokehouse, this is just…embarrassing. It was slathered with a peppery sauce which overtook the entire dish.
Will likely not be back. The greater Montreal area deserves a better smokehouse.
