Short UPDATE OCTOBER 2024 Went back to this great spot. Always fun always great atmosphere but Music is way way too loud. Still cannot have a conversation with anyone because the music is blasting so loud it is actually not enjoyable. Food wise it's still great but Brisket still has not been mastered, A little dry. I've been here about 7 or 8 times & the brisket tastes good but it is always dry. Needs improvement. Ribs were good especially since there was no sweet sauce on them this time. Turkey is very good. Porc belly always awesome. Sides are good too. All in all still a great place but gotta improve that brisket & lower the sound a bit! UPDATED NOVEMBER 2023 Still one of my favorite spots on the north shore but i must say they really still need to work on a few things. It was my 6th time here since the opening & i have to say that not once has the brisket been very good & this last time it was extremely dry & flavorless. Really need to work on the Brisk. They had no more porc Belly left at 8 oclock. C'mon guys. Everytime we go theres a meat missing. It's a saturday night. Porc Belly is probably the cheapest & most popular meat there. Just make more....ITS A FULL HOUSE SATURDAY NIGHT! Ribs are okay at best, way too salty though. Smash Burger always EXCELLENT. Sides were great also including poutine & Mac & Cheese. Sausage was forgettable. Service also needs work. But its a packed house & they are probably short staffed so i'll give them some slack there All to say brought down the rating because what should be the stars of the show don't seem to be the stars of the show anymore. It's more about the sides & burgers Notes for Brisket: Maybe cook it to 165 then wrap it till 200 with tallow (optional) & let rest as long as possible (even up to 12 hours) in a low oven till you need to serve it. Brisket should be nice & juicy not tough & dry. Maybe the brisket has some parts that are dryer than others if it is not well squared before cooking. Thats normal. But maybe dont serve it. It's not enjoyable when you're paying 45$/lb _____________________________________________________________ The food is quite good. For a smokehouse in Montreal, it's probably one of the best alongside Lattuca BBQ & Blackstrap BBQ. I still think Blackstrap & Lattuca have this place Beat but if you are from the north shore you don't have to drive too far & it's very convenient. It is miles above & beyond any other "smokehouse" you can get on the north shore like RUBS (worst excuse for a BBQ i've ever seen) or Le Baril. It is a new place, it will get better with time i believe. One thing that needs to change is the service. The waiters are not trained. They do not know the menu & they are not very professional/inexperienced. Service & Employees need a serious wake up call. As for the Food, the brisket & Ribs were very tender & the spices just right. I would lay off the sweetness & sweet sauces on the outer layer & just showcase the meat & bark on those bad boys but that is just personal preference. Fries are alright. nothing special but the Fitos-chili was scumptuous. Brisket Poutine is also quite nice. Try the Smash Burgers. They are worth it. One negative...WAY TOO LOUD! its crazy. Please turn it down a little. You cant talk to people or hear anything. I almost went deaf. Give the place a shot. They're working hard trying to make it work & i'm sure they will. Great Spot ! Keep up the great work.
The waitress that showed us our seat was rude. We ordered the Rodeo Meat Platter, & the meat was tender & juicy but the dry rub was SO SALTY. The best meat was the turkey. The service messed up our order twice, did not remove the mistake on the recipe. The service was slow The table we had was in the middle of a crowded arcade area, which produced a lot of noises. The old fashion I ordered was below average, they used crushed ice instead a single large ice cube. It took a lot of time to get our recipe. Overall, it was a bad experience & was not worth the price. I don't think we'll be coming back anytime soon. The smash burgers, nacho brisket & bret salad were on point though!

For first timers, I recommend getting the Rodeo platter ($49 per person). You'll be able to try a lot of their meats & fixings. I was the odd one out & ordered specific menu items just to try them out, the Brisket & Chili Burger. The serving size was miniscule & nothing wowed me as I'm not the biggest BBQ eater, but the rest of my party seemed to enjoy their platters.
Amazing food! Amazing atmosphere!! Love the food the meats were all good whit a smoky flavor & fall apart. We ordered the rodeo tasting menu for 3 which the server explained really well how it worked. However when we got the food we got a platter whit some smash burgers ( wich we dint order) Whit the platter or meats. We let the server know tht we dint get this but since they had alrdy dropped the food & we ate some fries from them they coudnt take it back. The server let us know tht we got somebody's else order & brought us the alrdy forgotten mac & chesse. Later while eathing we realised we only had one piece of meat each, one rib piece & one slab of brisket. We later asked the waitress if the order we got was truly ours but she assured us we got more than enought food for 3. All this to say we woudve loved to seen wht we woudve got instead of the burgers maybe they coudve replaced it whit the actuall sides the dish comes whit as we dint really want 2 burgers ( in wauch were 3 not even 2). Anyways loved the food tho if I would to go back would be just for some meat by pound & not the tasting menu.
I have eaten at over 50 BBQ restaurants throughout North America. Crappy BBQ, McRib has more flavor. When Jack Flat BBQ started it was great, now sadly because they're at a price point they cannot charge more, they have cheapened the quality. 1. Bread was stale 2 cheap ketchup not Heinz 3. Ribs had no flavor & hardly could taste any smoke, just a lot of salt. 4. French fries were not warm, just sitting in a pan, waiting to be served A disappointment & very expensive, I will not go back, now if you want great BBQ near Montreal go to Robbie's Smokehouse & Burger Bar, best BBQ in Quebec.
We had a great dine-in service. But my partner had the signature burger & got terrible food poisoning a few hours after. The restaurant should be more cautious about their food safety ⚠️
Le service était médiocre. J'aurais dû écrire moi même sur la tablette. Le repas était très ordinaire. Je fais de meilleurs burger. Par contre la salade de patates était très bonne. Les drinks étaient banale mais au moins il y avait de l'alcool. Zéro ambiance à l'extérieur.

Belle ambiance sur la terrasse! Nous avons pris le plateau de dégustation avec les smash burgers. Wow! La quantité & la qualité étaient au rendez-vous. Viandes goûteuses & juteuses. Super bon service.
First Timer. We saw some ads & decided to go for it. Called for reservation & everything went well. Plenty of parking spots all around. Staffs are super welcoming & atmosphere is great 💯 Clean place & smells delicious. As for food we took 2x the $49 platter which is witout the burger. & it all came in together as one big platter. In terms of portion it was well enough for 2 persons, managed to only ate like half of it. Taste wise everything was really good & flavourful. I might have expected a bit more from seeing their commercials but I really enjoyed everything & all meat were cooked to perfection & juicy💯 Can surely visit again. #recommended 👌
I recently had the pleasure of dining at jack flat BBQ & I must say, it was an absolute delight! The ambiance was cozy & inviting, the service was top-notch, & the food was simply outstanding. The crispy fries on the side were the perfect complement to the burger, The staff was friendly & attentive, making sure that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
This restaurant smells divine; the aroma of BBQ emanating from it was what led me to walk in. I opted for a table outside due to the nice weather, but the decor in their indoor dining room was so nice as well! To eat, I got a Cheese Bacon smash burger & my partner got a Mac'N'Four Cheeses. I also ordered a side of fries, because the burger comes on its own. In total, a burger & fries set me back $21, which is a bit pricey, but the food was absolutely delicious. The burger is juicy & the fries are well seasoned. The Mac tasted like the goldfish crackers to me, but my partner said It was very good & very cheesy. The wait isn't crazy at this restaurant, but you will be waiting 10-15 minutes from ordering until you get your food. The staff are super friendly! I can't wait to go back to this restaurant & try different things!

Sérieusement, le service a été excellent de la porte jusqu'à la table. Tout le monde est de bonne humeur & accueillant. Merci d'avoir pris le temps d'expliquer le concept du menu (idéal pour partager des gros plats à $49 par personne, sinon tout est à la carte avec choix d'accompagnement). Les drinks sont très variés avec un gros buck & tu peux partir avec. Facile pour réserver aussi. Le smash burger avec fromage & bacon était si délicieux (poutine classique en accompagnement). Le brisket était excellent aussi. Mention spéciale pour notre serveuse Maude - très gentille.
Rodeo menu was good. I loved the meat & quality...price is kind of okay. Stay away from burgers!! $20 for a double cheese burger with more grease than cheese & no sides.

When we first walked in the vibe & music of the place was amazing. Our poutine was ice old, the nachos were not even edible. The chips were stale, & it seemed like they used cheese whiz no salsa. The waiter brought us tomato sauce because they don't have salsa & my burger was extremely salty. If you're looking for a fun place to go drink go for it but I wouldn't recommend the food.
The hype was placed high before eating here. Someone told me that this place was "the place" - my expectations were high but unfortunately I have to say they weren't ... the food is ok but not "wow" - ribs were just basic, the burger was good, cauliflower had a taste that just rolled around in my mouth. The service was great & so was the ambience ... live music & hype crowd ... I'll probably go back but won't be my first choice
Review honnête. Réservation à 9h & on a attendu jusqu'à 9:30 avant de s'assoir. On s'est assis dehors. On a commandé les drinks qui goûtaient presque rien ... assez décevant. Ensuite toute la table avait hâte de goûter le poutine brisket... Encore une fois assez décevant: Presque aucune frite dans la poutine, trop de fromage & trop de brisket. La poutine était tellement salée que je ne pouvais plus la finir. 0/10 . Le burger par exemple était incroyable! Un des meilleurs burgers que j'ai mangé depuis très longtemps 10/10 !
One word...WOW. Absolutely amazing, pork belly is a must try. Burgers were awesome. Good poutine, good caesar salad & great bloody caesar. The only thing that was weak were their wings, but everything else made up for it. Service was also fantastic. Will definitely be back!
