Servi par Eleonore tres bon service tres sympathique,souriante. Une des meilleures serveuses que nous ayons eu tres attentives. Que dire des ailes de poulet juste wow les meilleures
Started off with a very friendly hostess. Our server Abi, was amazing! She helped modify meals & explained the options for my three children. All around a great dinner experience!
We were a very large party, roughly 15 people with kids. Two servers for our group they did really good up until food was finished. All the kids had desserts but nothing was ordered. It took a very long time even when trying to flag him down. Other than that the service & food was excellent
Was there for Super Bowl with friends had nachos , beer, chicken wings.
Outdated menu , outdated decor, outdated pos system needs renovations
Place was not very busy. Not the way I remember it over the past 20 years

Waiter worked hard to serve us but got screwd by pos system. Added 18% tip but realized only 9% was added after reviewing bill at home
My friends also told me that errors were on tipping
Got compelled to write a review because I find it's too well rated recently compared to what it's worth.
Food is decent/good American food. If you like comfort food & don't care about good ingredients you might be very happy. Otherwise it's not necessarily a great place.
Staff is nice, the atmosphere is nice (fun not pretty) & original but loud.
Always phenomenal service & food here! I placed a takeout order tonight & they made a small mistake in the order so I called & they handled the mistake very promptly & generously

Always a great time at the Don Mills Jack Astors. Want to shout out Kevin, my husband & I have had him as our server several times & he is always very friendly, helpful & makes genuine connections with us. He is always on top of refills & makes sure that food comes out perfectly! Thanks Kevin!

Never a bad experience at jack astors .. I had the goat cheese chicken wrap with sweet potato fries .. my mom had naked chicken tenders they were light & juicy tender ! My dad had the bruschetta appetizer so delicious .. Nikki was friendly & did a wonderful jo

I was with a group of people for someone's birthday. First of all they forgot my order & gave me my food when everyone else was finish eating.
Then my burger was burnt & over cooked.
I was so disappointed.
The waiter kept telling me he was alone in his section but it was only us in his section & 2 other people.
This happened January 19th, 2026 at 5:30 PM so you guys can go back & check who was working.
No apologies for giving me my food 20 minutes after everyone else WAS FINISH EATING BUT EXPECTED A 20% tip. Im so disappointed with the service & the quality of food.
The ambiance is always good & coloring on the table will always be fun.
I went to jacks with a friend tonight & the service was horrible. The server, Maria, came only to see us after we had been sitting for 20 minutes, it took 15 minutes for us to get our drinks after ordering them. The food took even longer. We didn't get water until we asked for them. All of our food was dry & over cooked. After getting our food I asked the runner for mayo, she rolls her eyes at me, sighs & walks away. When I ordered an other drink, it took her 20 minutes to get it after having reminded her twice she says'sorry I forgot'. Long story short not a great experience there. Keep in mind this is a Monday night with maybe 4 tables in the whole restaurant.
The Memphis steak was very good. Cooked perfectly. Our group ate at the bar. The bartender was very attentive even though he was busy. I would return the next time I am in the area. If you don't speak French, just ask for an English menu, they do have them.
