Was quite disappointed after seeing the 5a7 drink specials sign outsude, having seated in the dinning room, & then being informed that the 5a7 drink specials were only available in the bar, what's going on here.
Aside from that, had the 5-peice tenders. The hot sauce isn't very hot for being the hottest one. The tenders themselves where quite small size/portion wise given the 20$+ price. There's much better places to get tenders out there (BR, Ranji's, etc), Jack needs to up its game.
Very disappointing experience with our server, Gaby. We didn't even get offered water, & there was barely any interaction throughout the meal. After the food was brought out, nobody came back to check if everything was okay. The only time Gaby came back to our table was after we were already done eating to ask if we needed anything else.
The food tasted decent, but my pasta was lukewarm while my husband's meal came out hot, which honestly made me jealous. The chicken in my pasta also had burnt edges, & despite paying extra for bacon & mushrooms, there was barely any bacon included.
The service seemed heavily focused on the other side of the restaurant, even though the hockey game hadn't even started yet. My drink was also mostly ice, which felt like a waste of money.
What disappointed me the most was at the end of the meal. I still had leftovers, & instead of asking if I wanted a takeout container like most servers usually do, Gaby cleared my plate & stacked another person's dirty plate on top of mine, making it obvious I couldn't bring it home anymore. She did offer to replace it afterward without charging me, which I appreciated, because honestly if she hadn't offered that, I probably wouldn't have left a tip.
Definitely hesitant to come back after this experience.

We had a great experience at Jack Astor's Bar & Grill. Mikhail was very friendly, attentive, & provided excellent service throughout our visit. Thank you for the great hospitality!
Had such a great time at trivia night last week at Jack Astor's Bar & Grill for the Seinfeld theme night! It was honestly one of the most fun nights out I've had in a while. The whole place had a great energy & the questions were actually really good for fans of Seinfeld.
Trivia happens every Tuesday, & it's quickly becoming our weekly thing because it's such a fun atmosphere. There's even a bit of friendly rivalry with the reigning champ'The Dogfather' who somehow seems to win almost every week the whole room is basically trying to beat him at this point.
I also love that the first Tuesday of every month has a new theme, which keeps it fresh & gives everyone something to look forward to.
On top of the trivia, the food & drinks were great & the staff were fantastic super friendly & really kept the energy going throughout the night.
If you're looking for something fun to do on a Tuesday night, trivia here is definitely worth checking out!
The Memphis steak was very good. Cooked perfectly. Our group ate at the bar. The bartender was very attentive even though he was busy. I would return the next time I am in the area. If you don't speak French, just ask for an English menu, they do have them.
The Hunter chicken is sooo good!! :) the servers are the best! :) I like this place because it's not so rowdy but you still get that bar & grill vibe :)
