What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, & genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a fantastic experience. Thank you Abby
2024: the Sleigh my Name was great, kinda like a holiday margarita. The Nog Bomb tasted just like Egg Nog but there is definitely alcohol in there. The steak with the lobster shrimp crab topping was great. Even the vegetables were good. The potatoes could have used some salt & seasoning though. Guacamole appetizer was okay, nice chips & salsa but could season the guacamole more. Sticky toffee pudding was made well, way too heavy on the ice cream though. Fun decor for December. Attentive service. 2023: Whiskey business was a great cocktail. The chicken & bowtie pasta with the bacon & mushrooms was delicious. Mango mojito wasn't mixed well with all the sweetness at the bottom. Vanilla cold brew just tasted like Kahlua. Brownie baked into a cookie was delicious but really should be served with ice cream like other places. Usually play good music, fun decor. Nice terrasse. Service was friendly & efficient.
Peggy is literally the best, make her the president. Loved my time
We came for a 50th wedding anniversary & Peggy was our server. She did a phenomenal job taking care of our group. The food was delicious & I recommend trying their smashed loaded potatoes as a side, so good & unlike anything I've ever had while eating out! Also if you've never had their garlic pan bread, do yourself a favour & order some, it will change your life!
Always a good time at Jack Astor's. We've been coming to this location for over 20 years & have yet to have a bad meal! Had the Chicken finger this time & they were delicious as always. Try their new dessert, the sticky toffee pudding, it was delightful! Also our server Peggy was helpful, knowledgeable & over all amazing!
We just had an amazing night at Jack Astor's. We have been coming here for over 10 years & the experience has only gotten better. We had the beef nachos, chicken tacos, honey garlic chicken wings, & the garlic pan bread. Everything was cooked to perfection. Wings were saucy & crispy, nachos were cheesy & crunchy. The garlic bread was absolutely delicious as always. We were told the kitchen is under new management & if the food we had tonight was any indication it's going in the right direction. They have decorated for Christmas & the ambiance is wonderful & festive. Our server (shout out to Julia) was absolutely fantastic, very attentive & helpful. Highly recommend if your looking for a fun night out. & the fishbowl cocktails are delicious ❤️
Shout out to CYANN who took the time for us to be made VERY comfortable & heard! She is a phenomenal asset to the establishment!
I go to lunch here regularly. The hostess is brilliant & the service is always impeccable.
We are from Ottawa & made a reservation here for one of our team dinners. The service was excellent. I was grateful for their work on fitting in our reservation on short notice, too. Courtney, one of the managers, did a terrific job in taking care of us. Highly recommend this restaurant & would return here.

Decorated beautifully for the holidays. Julia was our beautiful server who suggested great drinks & food options for my family & I (I have MANY dietary restrictions). There was a little confusion in my husband's order but they fixed the issue quickly & were super nice about it! Such a great experience! Definitely, will be returning.
Our experience was made even better with Abi as our server. Her interaction with us was wonderful. She is very witty & pleasant & we appreciate that very much. I will ask for Abi's section whenever I go back!

It was a good experience our waitress Julia was very helpful she provided a great service making sure everything was to our liking & was also very polite
