The main food was really excellent! Very authentic. The dressing on the lettuce salad was quite vinegar heavy & the fries were just ok. But the main pitas we had, the Greek style potatoes were both really good! The ambiance is also very chic & modern. Great option for a Greek night out.
Everything was delicious from our salads to our main meals - gyro pita sandwich, grilled chicken breast served with tasty roasted lemony patatoes, rice & tzatiziki. Excellent customer service too. *forgot to take pics 🙄* I definitely recommend Greektown Grill DDO. My only complaint I didn't see any handicap parking spot, & the parking lot in general is a little tight. My mum also commented that the music is a tad loud, especially if you're like her & have a hearing problem. Came back again - Greektown is my new favorite West Island restaurant. This time we had gyro plate (loose meat) & pork chops once again everything was perfect. All the plates so far have very generous portions- we took leftovers home to enjoy later. The restaurant is on the cozy side & at times can get rather busy from what I heard from friends. I tend to go in middle of the afternoon as it's less busy then. *edit the pics of the salads are after we already started digging into them*
Delicious food! Taste like authentic Greek food from Greece. The Yaya potatoes melt in your mouth, & both pork options were well seasoned & cooked perfectly. The salad with dill is very refreshing. :) Yummy!!
I want to preface this by mentioning that I've been to the Laval location a couple of times & it's been great, but I guess the new West Island location is going through some startup issues. We visited for a late lunch/early dinner & were one of two tables in the restaurant at first. We ordered an appetizer & two plates. We were given our side salad & soup relatively quickly but then the service came to a near stand still. While other tables that came & ordered after us were eating, the appetizer never came out nor were we ever served any table bread. When our plates finally came out after nearly 20 minutes, the food was luke warm to warm at best. We mentioned the missing appetizer & still requested it, & hoped it would have come out piping hot, but it was even colder than the main meal. After we finished eating, it took another 10 minutes to acknowledge that we were done & would like our bill. There was only one other waiter on the floor & he was zipping around all over. In all honesty, we could have mentioned the temperature of the food when eating, but it would have been silly having to mention it for nearly every item we ordered other than the salad. Their food is tasty & of quality, but a restaurant should be about the whole experience.
Great fresh tasting Greek food. I loved their salad & potatoes. The restaurant has a nice clean decor , & the staff is very friendly. Our waiter , Luka was extremely friendly & really went out of his way to make us enjoy our experience even more. We look forward to coming back & hopefully having Luka as our waiter. Thank you again.

Let me tell you, this Greek restaurant I went to was absolutely amazing! The food was incredibly flavorful, & the atmosphere made me feel like I was in Greece itself. The staff was friendly & attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. I highly recommend trying their salads & their famous gyro ,& their fried zucchini it's DELICIOUS,but everything & every food is amazing. Trust me, you'll REALLY love it!!10 out of 10, I highly recommend it . 😄👌🍽️
New to the West Island. Thought the food would be the same as most Greek restaurants here. The "house" salad was delicious with a bit of dill. Nice & interesting twist. I probably could have made a meal out of it. The fried zucchini was tasty & so different than the usual plating. We couldn't even finish it. The combo gyro plate was super tender & seasoned wonderfully. The food was really amazing. I would definitely recommend & go back again.
After reading all the good reviews, I was very disappointed after my experience there. I came here excited to try a new restaurant in the West Island, I’ve been also trying to do TikTok about restos here & came ready to do videos for it.
We first sat down, restaurant was half empty. They did not give us any menu as we sat down. We were greeted by a nice waiter. We first started with a salad, the salad was full of tomato’s & 2 pieces of cucumber. It was a bit soggy I would say. I was not a big fan of it but maybe the salad is just not for me.
We then had our main meal, & without exaggerating it took 1 hour or a little more to get our food. Our waiter did come to see us once to let me know our food was on its way but we were starving at this point. The chicken pita tasted a bit cheesy, not sure if they add an extra ingredient but it was not something I enjoyed. There was also only 2 tablespoon of rice & not a lot of fries. The price we pay for this plate is not worth it at all. We also wanted dessert & that also took a bit of time but that’s on us for not asking if it would take long.
After we finished our food, it took long for the waiter to bring us our bill. We had to ask a random waiter to get us the bill after looking around for him. They also seem to focus more on take out than the actual customers at the tables.
I did not want to write a bad review since they are new but I think they will learn from reading my review & hope they do better for next time. For now, I will not be returning for a while. I hope you take this a constructive criticism more than a bad review. Thank you!
The pork gyro pita was stuffed with meat so they definitley don't skimp here. Flavors were very good for the Gyro, chicken brochettes, calamari, salad & rice. Service was friendly & fast as well. Enjoy.
