I went to lunch as a table of 3 for lunch on a Friday recently to celebrate a double birthday. I would add that this group does not have the fortune of going out for lunch often . When we arrived we were the only table & when we left there were only 3 tables total so definitely not busy. We ordered 2 chicken plates & one moussaka from the lunch menu. The moussaka was sent back as it was cold. The person who ordered it waited patiently for 20 minutes for the food to return at which point our waiter still hadn't let us know when we could expect the food back. We called over the owner who saw that we were waiting for food yet did not approach us. He informed us that the food was being warmed & it was brought back almost 25 minutes later at which point the other 2 were finished & so after a couple of bites the person opted to take it home. Upon plating it for dinner she noticed that there was raw meat in the dish. Upon calling the restaurant she was told that it was impossible but then proceeded to thank her for letting them know. No offer of refund or credit . I emailed the restaurant a week & a half ago & have received no response whatsoever . I allowed some grace before posting this review . I have frequented this restaurant in the past with other groups of friends however will not be returning.

The best Greek restaurant in the West Island ❤?The restaurant is super cozy & the staff is super nice & very attentive 😊 We had the half sea bass along with loose chicken & chicken souvlaki plate ❤?❤? Each bite was beyond delicious & for dessert we had the baklava ❤?❤? Cannot wait to come back to this 11/10 restaurant & try other items on this menu with family & friends 🥰🥰 UPDATES: Went back for dinner & were treated by one of the nicest staff (Sarah) who went out of her way to make us comfortable 😇😇 We had the fried zucchini with tzatziki for appetizers that was so delicious ❤?❤? For the main meal we had the chicken gyro, chicken souvlaki plate, & moussaka & each bite was phenomenal ❤?❤? Our full compliments to the chefs for making this gourmet's delight 🙏🙏 Finally for dessert we had the rice pudding, baklava cheesecake & bougatsa & it was the best thing over 😍😍 Cannot recommend this amazing 11/10 Greek restaurant enough for the wonderful staff & fantastic food 🙏🙏
The grilled octopus was outstanding! Served with red onion & capers with a splash of lemon YUM! The chicken in pita was lovely as well. Fries, amazing! The only ding- they have a lemon drop martini on the menu for $12 but I ordered a dirty martini which came with no olives- hmmm. I was told they ran out of olives- I said well I hope you don't change me full price- I mean come on- a dirty martini IS about the olives- sure enough, I was charged full price-$15…. It's not about the money but customer satisfaction. Food was great but bar needs some attention.
We had such a great experience eating here! The food was absolutely delicious! The pita bread was fresh & soft, the chicken was flavorful & cooked perfectly, & the tzatziki was spot on. Even the fries were amazing! We also ordered the soup of the day : a beef barley & vegetable soup & our little one devoured it! It was so tasty that we mentioned it to (what I believe was) the owner, & he was incredibly kind & even offered us some extra to take home. Such thoughtful service! The waiter was also super attentive, & everything about the experience felt warm & welcoming. I didn't get a chance to take more photos, but I have to say the calamari was fresh, crispy, & tender. Absolutely 💯. Highly recommend!
Service was prompt & friendly. The atmosphere was quaint. Prices were good however food quality was an issue. Both my son & I had massive stomach pains & digestive issues after eating there. Not sure if they cook with MSG (which we are intolerant to) but the chicken, potatoes & soup had a strong overwhelming lemon flavouring & the calamari had traces of dark pink so I'm not sure if it was a sign of early spoilage.
Came with a friend of mine around dinner time yesterday.
John our server was good. Friendly & nice towards us. He is a happy good person & talks good English.
The Pita Gyro pork was tasty & the chicken on a stick was cooked nice.
Rice & roasted potatoes was good as well. The Feta Lettuce salad was good as well. I finished all of the plates.
Rice & Roasted potatoes looked small portions but it was enough to fill your hunger.
Washroom was cleaned & well maintained as well.
Would love to try again in the near future.

My first & not my last visit. Service with Carolina was impeccable. Friendly, thus bringing this experience to the level of a warm place to eat where you just know she will remember you next time you eat there. The food was very flavourful with the chicken pita bread different than your typical store bought & closer to a Naan. Her suggestion of the potatoes were a great choice rather than fries & the chicken meat was well seasoned. Dessert? Next time. Had no more room but may just start with that next time. Great addition to the West Island selection of restaurants. Worth discovering!

Staff are very friendly. Chicken was charred beyond edible. Everything else was okay. E why would you give a customer burnt food?
Greektown offer a free replacement meal after I posted this review. The replacement meal was better. I appreciate the gesture.
I had high hopes for this place , I've eaten a lot of Greek food & a lot of good authentic Greek food , this place missed horribly , chicken was so dry , choked with every bite , overpriced , fries dry & tasteless , didn't even eat the rice , epic fail . Save ur money , don't waste it here .
Our second time here & we love it. Great establishment & cozy. The service is amazing & the food is excellent. Started with a pitcher of sangria, saganaki, fried calamari. My main meal was the gyro platter & my husband had the spasti chicken platter. We finished off with the ekmek kataifi. Everything was so yummy!

Amazing dining experience at Greektown Grill DDO ! Went for a late lunch & had the most delicious pork gyro loose meat ever ! Chicken souvlaki stick was tender & flavorable, & Tia-Yia's Greek potatoes were super tasty &!plentiful. We also ordered some taramosalata dip, which went perfectly with their toasted bread & potatoes. For a finale, we sampled their walnut cake which was served with ample honey & cinnamon, & a scoop of ice cream. What a great feast for a Thursday afternoon ! Fantastic fast & friendly service from Peter, & a warm welcome from manager Costa. On previous visits, we've had excellent lamb chops & their deep fried zucchini appetizer. Definitely worth multiple visits 👍
WOW, what a great place. Today we decided to try Greektown Grill DDO on my birthday, for the first time. Food was amazing . I ordered the chicken, it was juicy & tender, very well marinated & tasty. The lemon potato melts in the mouth & very delicious. Service was fast. The place is neat & clean & staff are super friendly & polite. The gentleman serving us noticed it's my birthday & he surprised me with a nicely decorated piece of cake topped with ice cream & a candle. I forgot to ask his name. It was a great gesture, you made my day. A big THANK YOU. I recommend this place 100%& I will go back definitely. I hope you lots of success in your business. Bravo everyone. I have been to Greektown a few times now & it doesn't disappoint. The restaurant is cozy, the food is always fresh & the service is very friendly. We decided to order some catering for our Easter celebrations this past weekend. We had pork & chicken gyros & loukaniko. The presentation was great & the food was hot & absolutely delicious! The loukaniko was even precut for us as we mentioned we would be serving it as an entrée! Nice touch! We definitely recommend Greektown Grill!
We were there on Wednesday evening at a work get together. My Boss took us there for dinner & we had the chance to try a bunch of stuff on the menu. Lamb chops, octopus, calamari, chicken & pork gyro. So much food we ate while we were there. All of it was delicious. The service was impeccable & we ate like kings. The place was very busy & seemed very popular & we had a wonderful time. I will definitely be going back.
