It has been a couple of times we go to Greektown D.D.O. The food is amazing. The salads are fresh, the meats are juicy & tender & the portions are generous. The only thing I can recommend is to call in advance to reserve a table.

My friend said the dill salad was drenched in oil & salt & the scent of the feta was so strong it could blow you off the sidewalk. I had the pork souvlaki stick plate with an extra stick. While the flavour was good, the portion of everything was half the size of the same menu Item at Marathon or Souvlaki authentique. Sorry, but I need to go where I get a nice big plate.
Souvlaki Authentique?? Are you serious. That takeout place overcharges for below average quality food (think: similar quality to the Greek fast food outlet in the Fairview food court--not good!). But if it's big plates of poor quality food you want, then yes, Authentique is for you. If you want delicious fresh, healthy fare, then Greektown Grill is the place to go.
Been at least 5-6 times now & every time, it's amazing ! The pikilia platter is great to share. The grilled shrimp is simply wow ! The dill lettuce salad is my go-to starter. Highly recommend.
I have recently traveled to Greece & eaten a lot of real Greek food. In Montreal, I have also eaten at many of the Greek restaurants that consider themselves'authentic'.
This is not authentic. I find that it's geared towards the North American palate.
I had a lunch special that consisted of a pork Souvlaki Pita, Greek lemon potato wedges, a salad, & a soft drink. The potatoes were very good, the salad was ok, the Souvlaki not so much. The cubes of pork were tiny but tasty, there was hardly any tomato & all I asked for was no onion & tziziki on the side. The pita was pretty empty.
My friend, who recommended this place because she eats there often, had the Moussaka. She liked it.
Will I go back? Probably not. There are lots of Greek restaurants that are better.
Came with a friend of mine around dinner time yesterday.
John our server was good. Friendly & nice towards us. He is a happy good person & talks good English.
The Pita Gyro pork was tasty & the chicken on a stick was cooked nice.
Rice & roasted potatoes was good as well. The Feta Lettuce salad was good as well. I finished all of the plates.
Rice & Roasted potatoes looked small portions but it was enough to fill your hunger.
Washroom was cleaned & well maintained as well.
Would love to try again in the near future.

Amazing place. We arranged a lunch for 40 people (including a bunch of teens) attending a hockey tournament nearby. George set us up with family style salads, meat plates, rice & potatoes The food was delicious. Service was fast & friendly. We only had an hour & George had us in & out on time. Highly recommend for large groups or small. Thanks!
Today was our 2nd time at this fairly new restaurant. First time was super good, a bit pricy but a very enjoyable meal. Today turned out to be a bit disappointing. My dill & feta salad had barely no dressing at all & my moussaka was good but was lacking flavors. We asked for a small container of tzatziki, which on the online menu clearly shows $3 for a small cup. I've asked Peter, the very nice waiter, for a small container & we were charged $8 for using 2tsp of it. Very disappointed. We will not go back for a long time. It's too bad as we had high expectations of this restaurant.
I have been there several times at lunch & have tried several of their lunch specials & it has always been excellent ! Everything is fresh from salads to main course & dessert! Peter our server has always provided amazing service. Highly recommended!!
The food is delicious. The salad was rather generous for a plate, it came with a generous amount of feta cheese. However, the potatoes were drenched in oil. The gyro meat was deliciously seasoned & accompanied with onion shavings. Our waiter was excellent.

Phenomenal! Everything tasted amazing & fresh. The tzatziki is made from 100% Greek yogurt & not sour cream like most other restaurants. You can taste the difference! We had the meat board & it did not disappoint. Salad was refreshing, pita straight outta the oven, & the fried calamari light & crispy. Service was top notch. Greektown Grill is going to be your new favorite!
Family friendly restaurant. My favorite Greek salad ever. Feta is from Greece so extra delicious. Calamari was fresh & crispy. Pork gyro was yums! Def coming back for more! For parents: Bathrooms unfortunately did not have a changing station though.
The service was very fast & with pleasure, the food was very good & fresh , & price reasonable. The greek salad was perfect , We had fun , we can add this place on our list ,
We arrived, a group of 4 with 2 kids, on a Saturday evening. Despite the rush, the owner himself welcomed us & made us feel like family. We were invited to wait for a table to become available which happened within the prescribed time. Once seated, we were attended to very quickly & consistently throughout the dinner despite it being the busiest time of the week. Bread, drink & food orders, appetizers out quickly, main course out reasonably fast & only after appetizers were finished. The quality of the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the calamari, greek salad, loukaniko & gyro plate. The atmosphere was also very energetic with music & the loads of people enjoying themselves. Overall, the atmosphere was great, the food excellent, but the service was impeccable & outstanding. You can really tell that the owner is proud of his business, cares for customers & it permeates through the staff making this a great experience. We highly recommend Greektown Grill to anybody in the area or passing through & will definitely be back!

It was our first time visiting Greektown Grill in DDO. We really loved the food. Fried Calamari was like melting in the mouth. Yummy.... Their on house bread with oregano & olive oil was something. We ordered Chicken Souvlaki stick plate which had very tender chicken & very different Lemon Potatoes. (Never had this type of lemon potatoes ever before... were very good.) I had ordered Grilled shrimps plate. Let me tell you - usually we get only 5 shrimps. But, here, I got, 8 pieces of shrimps with caper & lime & other spices was amazing. Their green salad & Tomato salad were very flavorful. Going to Greektown Grill with the price you pay - It's worth it. Must try it. I would surely recommend to our friends & other people who loves Greek food.
Best Greek Food I've had in a long time. It's so fresh, authentic, unique menu compared to other Greek restaurants. I couldn't stop thinking about my salad & chicken meal for days afterwards. Great atmosphere but a bit small, so it was packed & a bit noisy. People were lined up to get in.. so make sure you make a reservation.
First time here & we loved it. The service was great & the food was fresh & wonderful. Small establishment & so a little tight. We had the fried calamari which was great. The spasti chicken, the biftekia were wonderful. Great portion & reasonably priced. The tomatoes in the Greek salad could of been better. The bougatsa for dessert was excellent!
The main food was really excellent! Very authentic. The dressing on the lettuce salad was quite vinegar heavy & the fries were just ok. But the main pitas we had, the Greek style potatoes were both really good! The ambiance is also very chic & modern. Great option for a Greek night out.
