Gon Bui est un nouveau resto-bar chinois inspiré des temples perdus en Chine. Gon Bui signifie « Cheers » en cantonais. Nous créons nos propres plats de tapas néo-asiatiques, inspirés de la tradition avec une touche ludique.
Gon Bui Restaurant Bar offre une ambiance chaleureuse et contemporaine, un décor soigné et une touche asiatique qui en font une expérience agréable pour un dîner entre amis, un brunch ou une soirée détente. La carte propose des plats variés, généreux et bien présentés, avec des choix à partager et des spécialités comme les dumplings, calamars et le curry Hong Kong qui reviennent souvent en tête. Les cocktails et boissons sont créatifs, frais et parfaitement assortis aux mets, et la sélection est largement appréciée par la clientèle. Le service est globalement efficace et chaleureux, avec un personnel accueillant et attentif même lors des grandes tablées ou des réservations de dernière minute. L'ambiance, la musique et le design du lieu ajoutent une dimension festive ou cosy selon l'heure, ce qui en fait une option intéressante pour sortir en couple, entre amis ou en famille, avec un fort potentiel de revenir pour découvrir de nouvelles saveurs à chaque visite.
Bon on va se dire les vraies choses. Pour ce qui est de la cuisine je vous dirais que des entrées aux desserts en passant par les Mocktails c'est une expérience divine. Les plats sont fins & d'une présentation des plus artistiques. Les serveurs sont vraiment très attentionnés. Nous avions un DJ pour la soirée belle ambiance franchement je recommande la place. Je vous laisse découvrir cette place quelques surprises quand elles sont agréables sont toujours bonnes à vivre
The ambiance & the music was nice but the food wasn't great. Also the proportions were a bit weird. Some dishes were not enough to be a starter & some not enough to be a main dish so they were off. Solely because of the food I don't recommend

Très beau restaurant. La nourriture est excellente. J'ai adoré les calamars, les brocolis & les udons sauce carbonara. Le menu comporte 3 sections, de mini entrées, des tapas & des repas plus copieux. Nous avons tous partagés. Les repas arrivent vite, le service est impeccable. Nous avons eu un pépin pendant le repas & la serveuse a vite remédié à la situation & nous a offert une compensation. Je recommande à tous ce restaurant.
Good food highly recommend. We went in a Monday service was alittle slow cause they were only two to serve & do drinks & it happen to have been really busy but I highly recommend trying Such a great menu The burger & noodles are great So are the appetizers
Je suis allée deux fois au Gun Bui & j'ai adoré mes expériences! Le menu est DÉLICIEUX & hors du commun! Nous avons pris les plats à partager & j'ai goûté aux plats suivant: soupe wonton, dumplings, nouilles au boeuf, nouilles Udon sauce Alfredo (mon coup de coeur 😍), le curry, les brocolis chinois dont la sauce est TELLEMENT BONNE! Tous les plats se démarquent vraiment & il y a plusieurs styles de nourriture asiatique fusionnés ensemble! Il y a un beau choix de cocktails intéressants & de vin! Mon seul commentaire moins positif: lors d'une de mes visites, j'y suis allée & c'était beaucoup trop bruyant avec la présence du DJ. Autrement, tout était parfait & nous avons reçu un très bon service de la part de Clark. Je recommande fortement le Gon Bui pour une expérience culinaire 😋😍
The cocktails are simply AMAZING, the food is exquisite! The staff gives you good advice depending on your preferences. Great vibe even on a weekday. I recommend!

It's very hard to find a restaurant that leaves me thinking "I can't wait to come back & eat this food again, & have these drinks again". Gon Bui has me thinking this each time I go! Absolutely perfect menu, with one dish more delicious than the last. The drinks are one of a kind, such unique twists on the classics we all love! & the staff, where to begin! Kindest, most helpful, knowledgeable & welcome group of people I have ever met! Love love love! 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out, filled with amazing food, mouth watering drinks & an awesome atmosphere! Shoutout to Lucas, Jason & Henri who treated us so well! Thank you!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+⭐️
Tried their brunch & it was amazing!! They had Filipino-inspired Ube French toast that I ordered which was *chefs kiss*. The service is so good, water always topped up, greeted with a smile & they're so friendly. The place is gorgeously decorated & really appreciate the love they put into making this place such a treat to eat at. Highly recommend!
Ambiance, food & service 10/10! The food presentation was superb & it was delicious (had to stop myself from ordering seconds😂) Our waiter was very attentive & gave great suggestions for our drinks. Also loved the decor of this restaurant, it's very cozy. Would recommend for a romantic dinner date :)

Right place to selebrat the Birthday. We was groupe of 10 people. No problem with parking, plenty of free space, which is important! Despite the fact that there were a lot of people, the stuff was very helpful & services was fast. We had a Table d'hôte with raw oysters included. I even can't remember how many courses we had, but all dishes were amazing. This is the " bring your own wine " restaurant, so you can bring your favorite wine with you or Prosecco for special occasions. Highly recommended 👌.
We were very excited to try this place out - expectations were high & they didn't disappoint! Food was delicious, wait staff was kind & helpful, decor & atmosphere are great. Only downside is the wait & how loud it got. I'd definitely recommend this place if you have time to spend (makes a great date night!). Personal favourites - Forbidden Melon (whisky sour with a twist) & Jade tofu

It pains me to write this review because I really (really wanted) to love this place & was excited to try it. I always hope for new food experiences in Laval. I heard that they had just changed the menu when we went. However, I was quite disappointed with the overall experience. Pros : really cool music (my 90s 2000s vibe !) & ambiance as the restaurant is very pretty, our waiter was kind. Cons: very slow service (note that it was however a pretty busy night during the holidays) , we were there for about an hour & only had received one appetizer, food was very average, missing " finesse " & felt like basic street food trying to be closer to upper end, nothing special in the ingredients or execution to elevate the dishes. Unfortunately, the only thing we really liked food wise was the shrimp dumplings, which were very good. Sadly I can't really recommend unless they improve their menu & service time.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience. We got the sesame chicken wings, shrimp tacos & grilled salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection ( personal favorite were the shrimp tacos). I found the prices to be very reasonable. Service was great & very attentive to us. I dropped my chopsticks twice & the noticed & brought me new ones every time. The decorations in the restaurant are also super impressive, makes the whole visit worth it. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous. Strongly recommend if you like asian flavours & great cozy ambiance.
Gon Bui is one of the most beautifully designed restaurants I've been to. It was captivating no matter where you sat & just for that I recommend visiting this spot. The food was tasty, eye-catching & with generous portions that are shareable like the menu states. Even the sauces were unique & delicious! I would come back here solely for the battered cauliflower or the Chinese churros, which I highly recommend. I do have to give my impatient restaurant-goers a few warnings: even though they weren't busy & there was enough staff, it seemed that they didn't really know what they were doing. It took a while for the server to take our order after we were seated & the food was not delivered together. We weren't even given plates of utensils for a while after our first plates were delivered. Then to top it off, our server hadn't been to our table in a while, & it took three attempts with multiple servers to order dessert. Luckily we were not in a rush so this didn't ruin our experience, but I felt like it needed to be addressed.
Came here for a quick dinner before a concert, & I absolutely loved my experience! My friend recommended the Papaya Salad & it was delicious, the Calamari was also very good with a little spicy twist to it. The decor inside was very unique, overall was a great experience:)
I heard about this restaurant a long time ago from social media. Finally got the chance to go.
The restaurant is very pretty with lots of ambiance. The Chinese good fortune red tree is spectacular. The design of the restaurant is in between modern & ancient Asian designs. I was very amazed by the decoration.
The cocktails were all on point. I would definitely to come back to try other cocktails on the menu. They were all well made with a little touch of the Asian flavor. I really enjoyed there cocktails.
The food on the other hand was okay. Nothing really amazing but they were all very well presented & good. But I would say you could definitely get these dishes in Chinatown or other Chinese restaurants in cheaper price (& more tastier). There wasn't anything that I would say I would come back for the food.
I would highly recommend for people who love cocktails.
