Gon Bui est un nouveau resto-bar chinois inspiré des temples perdus en Chine. Gon Bui signifie « Cheers » en cantonais. Nous créons nos propres plats de tapas néo-asiatiques, inspirés de la tradition avec une touche ludique.
Le Gon Bui Restaurant Bar est largement reconnu pour son décor moderne et magnifique ainsi que pour son atmosphère vibrante, souvent agrémentée de DJ live qui dynamisent l'expérience. Les clients soulignent fréquemment la sélection variée et créative de cocktails, ainsi qu'une offre culinaire incluant des brunchs savoureux et des plats à partager pour le souper. Came here to celebrate my birthday with my family. The decor inside the restaurant is truly stunning, my family & I took a lot of pictures throughout the night. We ordered several dishes to share & my honest review is that the food was just alright. The tartare was definitely the best dish, but the mains weren't anything special; my family didn't fully enjoy them. Something to note was that the curry potatoes weren't fully cooked through. Overall, the restaurant is gorgeous & I would come back to explore the interesting drink menu.
Ambiance agréable, mais c'est vraiment le service qui a sauvé l'expérience. Notre serveur était exceptionnel : sympathique, attentionné & très humain. Un service A1.
Côté nourriture, c'est beaucoup plus mitigé. Les dumplings aux crevettes étaient bons, ceux au boeuf corrects, & les pétoncles au coco franchement délicieux. Le curry de poulet était acceptable, sans plus, & les churros très réussis.
Par contre, le tofu était tout simplement immangeable : fade, sans goût, avec une texture peu agréable. Même le serveur l'a goûté & a reconnu qu'il y avait un problème.
Le reste du menu manque clairement d'originalité. Le tartare de boeuf est trop chargé en parmesan, loin de ce qu'on s'attend dans un concept à tendance asiatique. Le tartare de saumon est très basique, sans rien de marquant.
Au final, les prix sont élevés pour une qualité & une créativité qui ne sont pas au rendez-vous. Si vous recherchez une véritable expérience culinaire, vous risquez d'être déçu.
Encore une fois, mention spéciale au service, qui était irréprochable, dommage que la cuisine ne soit pas à la hauteur.
Ça ne vaux pas le prix exorbitant que nous avons payer... c'est ce qu'ont appel du vol.
Vous n'êtes pas un restaurant 5 étoiles & vos prix son excessif pour la qualités du menu... Descendez de votre nuage car a long terme vous ne gagnerai pas de fideles clients avec des repas équivalent au Thai Express. 🙄
Pour 3 : 1 bouteilles de vin, 1 drink chaque & le menu découverte... 405$ avant le tips. 👎🏻👎🏻

50$ bill for a main course & a Mocktail. I had the hong kong curry & a duo mango mocktail, it was extremely average. Staff was okay, for such a price I'd expect more. It feels more like we're paying for the atmosphere which is truly unique. Rest could be recreated by an average joe. 5/10

Too sweet. It feels like eating syrup. 4ppl ordering 3'salés' & 1'sweet'. Even the salade or the curry has syrup on it! The sweet dishes are supposed to be sweet, but the'plats salés' really shouldn't be THIS SWEET! It's too sweet! Ahhhh Ugh....
Good vibe though.

Decided to have a try after I saw the decor on Maps.

- We went without reservation & we were seated.
- Staffs were welcoming.
- Place is super cosy & clean.
As for food, we had the Fried Calamari which was very good & with not so usual flavours but still very good. & this heighten our expectations for the main course.
The waiter suggested the Lobster noodles & the Chicken Curry so we went ahead with that. However, I was personally I bit disappointed after having such good Calamari. The meals weren't bad but they were OK. My curry (marked as spicy), was more sugary for example.
Presentation-wise they are good but I personally feels they lack depth/flavours in the meals we were served. Not so value for money...
In terms of price, they are above average making a total of 98$ for one starter, & two meals. (tips starting at 18%)
Staff was friendly & helped newcomers (us) selecting food.
It is better to share food with at least one person.
Food was amazing (specifically the hong joy curry) except for one brocoli dish. We ate the curry before hand so it could have affected the taste of the brocoli.
FANTASTIC restaurant. The food, the drinks & the service were all spectacular. I ordered a lot & loved every single bite. The Hong Kong curry is an absolute must-have.

The vibe of this chinese restaurant is the best, they play good music & quick service.
The only thing that makes me remove a star is the fact that theres not that many gluten free options but as a celiac I really enjoyed their Hong Kong curry, it was delicious. Highly recommend!
Their drinks are also very good.
