One of the fewest authentic pizza places left.this place for me is a 10 on 10 I drive from Laval to get this pizza & I'm never disappointed they've been open for 50 years & I hope they stay open for a other 50 at leastView more

Walking around Pointe-Claire Village, can make a girl real hungry.
Gigi Pizzaria has been on my'Need to Try' list for a few months. It was recommended by a few friends. I haven't gone earlier because parking can be a little tough.
We were greeted by a very friendly lady & seated immediately. For a Wednesday lunch it was quite busy. We were lucky there was a booth still available.
The menu is not extensive, but there are more that enough selections. Ranging from a small selection of spaghetti lasagna to a large selection of subs & pizzas.
We had pizza. A 10''Deluxe' to be exact. It was loaded with cheese, mushrooms, green peppers, pepperoni, bacon, & onions. Holy moly. The sauce was light so the flavors of the toppings was able to stand out.
Only downside was that it was a bit wet under the crust which was a bit underdone. I didn't say anything because it was ok. I'm just very picky. My friend had a single topping pizza, 1/2 pepperoni & 1/2 capicollo, & nit was dry & perfectly cooked. Sometimes, when there are too many toppings the tendency is to stay a little wet on the bottom. It takes a long time for the mushrooms & peppers to dry out.
When I go back? Absolutely.View more

Place is small & old but very clean, wash rooms are small but again very clean. Being a little old gives it a great ambiance to sit & eat, again food five stars, staff always friendly.View more

I've not been to Gigi's in quite some time, not being near Pointe Claire village often, but always happy with anything I've ever ordered from poutines to subs to those amazing pizzas. The experience is one that brings me back to when my grandfather & then uncle would bring me there after a haircut many many moons ago, nostalgic & good feeling. Even if I am a tad large for the booths, I don't mind remembering how it was back then & just enjoying the moment. The staff is friendly & welcoming, I enjoyed having a nice hot coffee while my pizzas were being made. When I got home, they were still nice & hot & I love that the new boxes stayed intact for the drive home (as mentioned not really close to PCV at all)

This is a small privately owned pizza shop serving up Montreal style pizza. The service is great & the server(s) are very polite & friendly.
We had a medium Deluxe which is an all dressed pizza with bacon & onions. The crust is airy with crisp edges. Really good.
Been coming here for years & definitely recommend this pizzeria

The best pizza in the West Island. It is of a much higher quality than the standard chains, which is great, but of course makes it a little more expensive. It is a cash-only restaurant, & they have an ATM inside if you are in a pinch. The best place to stop for lunch or dinner if you're driving down Lakeshore, or for dinner at home. I highly recommend Gigi Pizzeria!View more

We've been dining at Gigi Pizzeria for 20 years, & while the pizza is still great, the fries have taken a serious nosedive in recent years. My son used to love their poutine & would order it every time, but now he won't even touch the fries-they're that lousy. Why the change in preparation? The old fries were a favourite, but the new ones just aren't cutting it. It's disappointing to see a longtime staple go downhill like this. Still, we'll keep coming back for the pizza, but I really hope they reconsider the fries situation!View more

Quand je veux manger une pizza, je vais chez Gigi même si je n'habite pas dans le coin. Cette semaine le 12 décembre j'ai été mangé chez Gigi. J'ai été très déçu, ils ont changé leur salamis & en plus je trouvais que la pizza était dégarni à comparer les autres fois j'espère que c'est juste une faute du cuisinier & non pas la nouvelle consigne de la direction à 50 $ pour une pizza je m'attends à ce qu'elle soit bien faites & bien garni !!View more

Ordered a pizza tonight, tasted delicious but unfortunately the crust was so tough. Ended up scraping the toppings off & eating just that, dough went in the garbage. Going to be awhile before we order again, if ever.View more
