Vegetarian delivered pizza had no flavour; onions, peppers, cheese no taste at all. The topping seemed to be'glued'; maybe it was plastic..? Very disappointed with the first pizza we have not enjoyed in our life. How can the pizza maker make such a bad pizza is beyond wonder.
If you like apizza loaded with toppings, a thick perfectly cooked crust, then this pizza is for you!! Been looking for a tasty pizza loaded with toppings & finally found it!
If you're used to cheap delivery, $37 for a large pepperoni & cheese will cause some sticker shock. But there's a reason this Pointe-Claire staple is always packed! Founded by an Italian family in 1970, Gigi's still rocks a deeply retro vibe with vintage burgundy booths & wood-paneled walls.
You get exactly what you pay for here. The pizza is massive, they specialize in a thick, fluffy, old-school crust built to hold a mountain of fresh toppings & their signature sweetly-spiced tomato sauce. It's a heavy-duty, knife-&-fork pie, not a flimsy foldable slice.
Is it expensive? Absolutely. But you aren't just paying for a quick dinner; you're paying for huge, generous portions from a local institution that hasn't compromised its recipe in over 50 years. A true comfort food classic!
One of the best pizza & sub restaurants in the city. It's not NY style pizza. It's not thin crust. It's traditional Montreal style, thick with a lot of toppings & delicious. .
I ordered a 10-inch vegetarian pizza along with French fries, & it completely exceeded my expectations! Even though it was a small pizza, it was generously loaded with fresh green olives, capsicum, onions, mushrooms, & lots of mozzarella cheese.
Every topping tasted fresh & flavorful. What impressed me most was the quality & stuffing - despite being a small size, no other pizza chain's medium or even large pizza can compare to this restaurant's pizza.
Absolutely mind-blowing! I never expected it to be this good. Highly recommended!
Fast service, just 20min for multiple pizzas order. Nice pizzas with plenty of topping.
Walking around Pointe-Claire Village, can make a girl real hungry.
Gigi Pizzaria has been on my'Need to Try' list for a few months. It was recommended by a few friends. I haven't gone earlier because parking can be a little tough.
We were greeted by a very friendly lady & seated immediately. For a Wednesday lunch it was quite busy. We were lucky there was a booth still available.
The menu is not extensive, but there are more that enough selections. Ranging from a small selection of spaghetti lasagna to a large selection of subs & pizzas.
We had pizza. A 10''Deluxe' to be exact. It was loaded with cheese, mushrooms, green peppers, pepperoni, bacon, & onions. Holy moly. The sauce was light so the flavors of the toppings was able to stand out.
Only downside was that it was a bit wet under the crust which was a bit underdone. I didn't say anything because it was ok. I'm just very picky. My friend had a single topping pizza, 1/2 pepperoni & 1/2 capicollo, & nit was dry & perfectly cooked. Sometimes, when there are too many toppings the tendency is to stay a little wet on the bottom. It takes a long time for the mushrooms & peppers to dry out.
When I go back? Absolutely.
Fantastic pizza - perfect crust, fresh sauce, quality cheese, & generous toppings. Great flavors & fast, friendly service. Highly recommend!
Ordered a pizza tonight, tasted delicious but unfortunately the crust was so tough. Ended up scraping the toppings off & eating just that, dough went in the garbage. Going to be awhile before we order again, if ever.
Used to love Gigi's. They're more expensive, but you got a great pizza full of toppings. There is a little seated area inside, but it truly is a order & pickup restaurant. However, when they stopped delivery that was the end of that. Sadly they are on a very busy street with no parking, so pickup is challenging & delivery was a great service to have.
