En définitive c est une étape incontournable pour vivre une tranche de Montréal et son patrimoine, plus qu un repas gourmet, apprécié pour son cadre nostalgique et le charme de l orange Julep, tout en laissant certains visiteurs sur leur faim côté nourriture.
I have had this place on my list for a long time, & it was worth the wait! Absolutely delicious orange drink, reminiscent of an orange julius. Pulpy & yummy!

Forget fancy, this is pure nostalgia. The iconic "Big Orange" serves up simple pleasures done right. Their steamed hot dogs are perfectly cooked, with that classic snap. & the Orange Julep? A creamy, dreamy, slightly tangy orange drink that's uniquely Montreal. Grab a classic combo & enjoy a taste of the city's history.
I went there as a gag. Saw a tiktoker say the poutine was surprisingly good. I've never had an orange julep before so it was exciting for me to try. I'm very happy I did. My only regret is that I did not buy more julep to go! It was delish! Shoutout to the staff! They are super nice!
I think this place is overpriced. The orange juice isn't anything special; it's just a basic orange juice, & the small size cost me 5 dollars. The sweet potato fries were a huge disappointment-very greasy, not fresh or crunchy, with an unappetizing appearance & taste. I went to experience one of the most famous spots in Montreal, but I found the quality to be poor, & the customer service lacking. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. On the other hand, I love that the building remains intact; it's charming to see a giant orange in the middle of the city. It's fun to visit if you're a tourist, & it's perfect for vintage-style photos, but the food quality is really not great.
Love love love this place. Food was great although we just got a poutine & the orange juice of course. Not sure about their other items. Love the nostalgic feel of the place. It's small where you go in & order but there's some seating outside if you're going during a time where temperatures are mild; otherwise, we just ate in our car which was no problem at all. Parking is free so that was good & there's plenty of spaces so that wasn't an issue at all. It's a no frills experience & will make sure this is an obligatory stop everytime i'm in town.
The only major downsides are the high prices (since it doubles as a tourist attraction) & the fact that half the staff can't speak French nor English. The food is pretty good & the fact that it's open until 4AM makes it a great spot to stop by when coming home from an event/concert downtown.

BEST ORANGE JUICE I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE...what else can I say? This is coming from a person, who's favourite drink is orange juice. I heard great things throughout my life about this place but only tried it after 30 years so I just got the biggest size. That is the jug.
Enfin j'ai goûté à ce fameux juste d'orange !! Effectivement vraiment très bon ! Par contre au niveau du prix, c'est rare que je souligne ce fait mais : 2 petites poutines, 1 rondelle & 3 jus = 55$ . Si j'y retourne ce sera seulement pour le jus & je vais y retourner sans hésiter.
Overhyped place that serves overly sweet sugarcane juice with a touch of orange flavour, masquerading as orange juice. The veggie pogos were interesting. The batter on the outside was quite good but the veggie hot dog wasn't all that great, to me. The fries we got were oily & not crisp. Overall, a novelty visit maybe, for the sweetened juice. Can't recommend the food items we tried.
I give only two stars because I bought one bottle juice yesterday which supposed be 2 litres. But when I backed home & opened bottle, I found at least 1/4 was empty. As the price that high but missing too much it is too disappointedly.

I always wanted to try this joint, after 15 years of living in Montreal finally got the chance to try it. The drink is the highlight obviously & it tastes very unique & its creamy in a good way. The hotdogs were ok & delicious. However our fries was almost burnt & black & we couldn't eat them. Overall the food is ok, but i think the vibe of eating in a parking lot in front of giant orange 🍊 is fun & unique. We ate our food & watched some netflix in our tesla & had fun. I recommend it once for the experience.
