I also really love their orange juice. It might be a bit too sweet for some people but I LOVE IT. SO GOOD!
I should have known this place wasn't worth the hype the moment I noticed almost everyone inside was a tourist. We seemed to be the only locals…& I can see why. We came because my sister-in-law saw someone on social media claim it was the best poutine in the city. I wish she remembered which influencer, because that recommendation clearly isn't worth trusting.
The food itself? Pure fast-food level. The poutine was strictly mid-tier, & none of the three of us walked away impressed. The only point of debate was the orange juice. My companions found it decent (not amazing, just decent). I thought it tasted like sugar water with a token splash of orange. To be fair, they're the type who drink Pepsi like it's tap water, so heavily sweetened, artificial flavors appeal to them in a way I'll never understand.
If that sounds like your taste, then maybe this place will work for you. But if you're looking for genuinely good poutine or fresh juice, save your time.
It is really good experienced to enjoy fresh squeeze oranges juice. It is worth to enjoy while going montreal . Even my friends tried poutine which was classic poutine ( vegetarian)
This spot stands out for good reason - its visually striking, open late, serves up massive portions with a twist on classic desserts, & has plenty of space to dine on-site along withan expansive parking lot. The poutines & frappé drinks are pricey for the portion sizes, but worth the treat. Service is efficient & the staff work relatively quickly to get your order ready. Worth visiting!
I tried countless poutine. The poutine here is dogshit mid 😭!! Everything else is good but the poutine taste the same as KFC poutine. Their hot dog are amazing tho
orange juice was so good regret not getting a large - poutine was also very good!
Poutine & Juice was delish as usual. Husband had the breakfast sandwich, said it was really good.
Hotdogs were over cooked, so they lost some ratings for that.
The Orange Julep (Orange & Milk drink) & Poutine at Gibeau Orange Julep was awesome!
The Orange Julep which is a combo of orange & milk somehow worked together to give a smooth, refreshing, & not too sweet drink. It reminded me of an orange creamsicle but a better version of it in a beverage format. It was so good that we took home a jug of the Orange Jelup (see picture) back home with us. Would definitely recommend the Orange Julep if you craving a good orange creamsicle like drink in the Montreal, QC area.
The Poutine with Hot Dogs (Small) was awesome. The gravy & cheese kurds were delicious. The fries were mostly crispy & delicious. The hot dog pieces were good. Overall, a good & filling poutine :)
Orange Julep is an absolute staple in Montreal & truly iconic! The poutine & veggie hot dog are amazing full of flavor & perfectly satisfying. The orange juice is fresh & refreshing, & the service is always friendly & efficient. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this spot is a must-try for its delicious food & nostalgic charm. Highly recommend!
Giant Orange in the heart of Montreal! The poutine was good - not a fan of the hot dogs. The orange drink was delicious. Overall was pretty expensive for what it was. $4.41 for a side of gravy seemed a little much. 🤔
Orange Julep is truly delicious! The hot dog is a must, & best all dressed. The poutine is a warm, comforting hug of taste. Can never get enough Julep!
La poutine est vraiment bonne & la vitesse pour une commande est rapide! | The poutine is really good & you get your food really quickly!
Alot of nice car shows around here, food is good, my favourite is the juice & poutine
Poutine is very good on some of the best in the city. Orange drink tastes like a melted down orange creamsicle. Prices are a bit expensive for the food you are getting.
Can't understand the hype. Poutine was below average. The fries were burnt, & there was neither enough gravy nor enough cheese. We ordered 2 small, 2 large poutine with that 1 orange juice jug costed us 85$ something. Juice was just sugar syrup. It is better to go to costco & have a better poutine there.
I gotta chance to try this Montreal iconic place :) the poutine was really really good, I was impressed! The fries were not too soft & I liked it that way. Besides, I also tried the orange juice. Quite new taste for me lol but overall, best poutine so far. Unfortunately :( I did not have a chance to visit the inside. it is def worth the try while visiting Montreal.
I went there as a gag. Saw a tiktoker say the poutine was surprisingly good. I've never had an orange julep before so it was exciting for me to try. I'm very happy I did. My only regret is that I did not buy more julep to go! It was delish! Shoutout to the staff! They are super nice!
