The waiter was great

I asked for less of the other veggies for more Brussels sprouts & they made the exception for us.
The platter was fresh, the lobster needed a more potent sauce bu there's a sweet creamy sauce that came with the Brussels sprouts so goooooodddd

The service we received was very good.
The food we received was ok. I ordered a pasta with tomato sauce & I asked for bread. I shouldn't have to ask in an Italian restaurant, but I had to.
The bread I received was terrible. Let's not forget this is supposed to be a decent italian restaurant. The 2 slices of bread were like melba toast. Hard with no substance. The kicker is that we spent almost $250 for a meal for & they had the hutspa to charge us $1.50 for those 2 lousy pieces of bread. We have averaged 2 visits a month over the past year or so but they won't be seeing my money any time soon. This was the true meaning of PENNY WISE & POUND FOOLISH not too say very insulting......
I had an incredible dining experience at Gatto Matto! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was vibrant & stylish, with a perfect mix of modern & classic Italian charm. The service was outstanding-our server was friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was beautifully presented & packed with flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich & well-balanced, & the ingredients tasted fresh & high-quality. The cocktail menu was also impressive, with creative & well-crafted drinks. To top it all off, the desserts were divine! The tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had-light, creamy, & full of flavor. If you're looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience, Gatto Matto is the place to go. Highly recommend & can't wait to return!
Très beau restaurant! On a essayé la burrata c'était très bon puis les rigatoni sauce rosé était excellent 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
spaghetti al pesto burrata - order it! the creamy basil pesto is one of the best I've had in montreal. the grilled lamp chops were nicely marinated & the yogurt & mint pesto sauces added a perfect touch of flavor!
Accueil chaleureux! Pizza excellente! Frites ail parmesan wow !! quel bonne idée!!! Gnocchi par contre manquait un peu de sauce !? mais les gnocchis ainsi que le peu de sauce qu'il y avait c'était bon , meme tres bon!!! Bravo pour votre bonne cuisine ! Prix tres raisonnable pour 2024. J'y étais pour l'heure du lunch (midi) & pas de musique de fond ( un peu plate) ! Aussi , les banquettes avec tissus rose un peu tâchées pas tres hot de voir des banquettes de tissus tâchées, mais bon concernant la bouffe c'est un 5 stars !!

The pasta was average, but expected more from italian restaurant. The Lamb on the other hand was not tasty, almost grey & the sauce was too acidic(58$) what a disappointment! Also want to mention the small portions & be prepared to pay 10-20$ for parking since there is none in front of the restaurant. Overall it's a fancy cute place but definitely don't go for the food nor good service.
Invitation surprise de notre couple d'amis ! Belle surprise & belle découverte ! L'ambiance du samedi soir était incroyable ! Amélie, notre serveuse, nous a traité comme des rois! Beau sourire, sympathique & efficace, elle a fait en sorte de nous faire vivre une belle expérience ! Nous avons pris un pichet de sangria, SUIVEZ LE ROSE, au melon d'eau pour commencer notre soirée... rafraîchissante & délicieuse ! Nous avons partagé deux entrées, le CHOU-FLEUR CACIO E PEPE (après ça vous allez adorer ce légume ! ) & CALAMAR FRITTI (tendres & goûteux). Repas principal, LASAGNE À 50 ÉTAGES, RIGATONI À LA VODKA ROSÉE & menu spécial, SAUMON GRILLÉ SAUCE BÉARNAISE . Tout était chaud & délicieux. Shawn, le propriétaire nous a gentiment offert un shooter au melon, exquis! On voulais passer le dessert mais... On s'est laissé tenter par le MI-CUIT AU CHOCOLAT , wow! & pourquoi pas un shooter Hot Shot ! Le décor est magnifique, la musique n'est pas trop forte, la terrasse est belle & le personnel est sympathique... Tout pour passer un bon moment ! Oh! Le stationnement est à la porte 13, sous la place Bell & il est gratuit, demandez votre coupon à votre serveuse. Merci, il y a longtemps que je n'avais pas passé un si beau moment !
Party of 7 Food was very good very tasty The pasta was delicious Rigatoni vodka sauce & linguini frutti di mare was the popular choice Drinks were very refreshing & large choice Service was a bit slow but it was really full & bustling with people Nice ambiance good music A must try !! Parking is no issue there's indoor free parking with ticket validated by the restaurant.
Excellent service , toujours à votre disposition & attentionné. La nourriture est excellente ! La sauce du poulet pané OMG . Je recommande très fortement !
To start off, the service is wonderful, our waitress listened to what we like & dislike (my friend doesn't eat cheese) & answered very well to the questions that we had in details, & even gave a few suggestions which we really appreciated. Moving onto the food, I ordered the Fettucini fruitti di mare (which is my favourite & go to dish in any italian restaurant), the portion is more than enough for one person. The pasta was cooked al dente, the seafood was exquisite & finally the arrabiata sauce was just the perfect amount of spiciness to let out all of the flavours of the dish. Lastly, I had the paloma cocktail which was really good. The only thing that is a little negative is that they ran out of desserts there were only two options left so we didn't fulfill our tiramisu cravings. But overall, I would definitely recommend!
Absolutely amazing !!!! Had that huge platter lambs chops steak & shrimp was absolutely insane !! Im going having that platter all over again ! & the appetizers were excellent. Calamars , beef tatar , cacio pepe veggie dip the focacio into the cacio pepe sauce then add the tatar on top then bite !
Je viens ici assez souvent & d'habitude j'ai un bon service & c'est 5 étoile pour moi. Mais hier, j'ai commandé la pieuvre pour la 1ere fois & je l'ai trouvé très épicé & j'en ai fait par à la serveuse qui a complètement ignoré mon inconfort à manger épicé. & à demandé si les autres trouvaient le plats épicés !! J'ai trouvé ça très impoli de sa part, car c'est moi qui a une intolérance... ma cousine aussi le trouvais epicé mais tolérable pour elle. Sa réponse à été de me dire que la sauce "Harissa" effectivement est épicé dans le menu & qu'elle peut rien faire! & elle a quitté ma table sans me proposer une autres option. J'ai donc payé pour un repas que je n'ai pas mangé. Très très déçue du service.
Everything was tasty, the octopus sauce was brilliant, The dried aged steak was perfectly cooked. I will definitely come again.

The grilled octopus was okay - it was chewy instead of melt in your mouth savory. The accompanied Sauce was too spicy to even taste anything with an overpowering vinegar flavor.
The salmon tartare was SO SALTY. It wasn't edible at all -
Filet mignon was cooked to perfection (I asked for rare) but again it was so heavily salted & peppered I had to cut off the whole outside of the meat. The broccolini were so spicy - I think just heavily peppered.. my lips were burning. The mash potatoes did not look appetizing as they were just plopped on the dish & had a puddle of jus floating there in the middle of it. Also very salty.
Definitely over-hyped. Pricing was okay considering the type of food on the menu, but not worth it for the quantity & taste.
La pizza était loin de correspondre à nos attentes. Le site du restaurant précisait qu’il s’agissait d’une de leur spécialité, une des meilleures au monde, mais hormis le sel beaucoup trop présent, les garnitures sont rares, y compris la sauce, le fromage de mauvais goût, le tout sur une croûte sans saveur. La porchetta qui devait être l’ingrédient de base était en fait du bacon…
