The designer Jacques Gaspo from Foodtastic (behind La Belle & La Boeuf, Souvlaki Bar, Carlos & Pepe’s, Le Blossom, the new Nickels and Bacaro Pizzeria) developed Gatto Matto over a two year period. A revolutionary and Avant-Garde Art Deco concept with a flower bar theme that is a fusion between Chicago and Italy. Using premium materials designed and manufactured in Montreal, the elements marry themselves wonderfully. Bright and vibrant colors give a WOW factor that will make you feel like in a modern Milan hotel with a girly touch. We came on Saturday 11 people..Myliann! I never had a better service in 10 years… the food is amazing…the decor is so aesthetic… but Myliann made mine & my family's night that's for sure…she even gave us a tarot card reading that was spot on..HIGHLY recommend Gatto Matto!!!

I went with friends for a birthday dinner. Overall food was great my favourite were the lamb chops I will definitely order again when we go back! Service was excellent with our waitress Megane. She waited with kindness & a smile on her face the whole evening. You can tell she knows what she is doing & that she loves her job. She even offered to take our picture for us. Ask for her you will love the experience. As for the atmosphere, the place was very beautiful decor was great & the lighting was perfect for pictures! We loved our experience! L from ACJKL✨

Service was faster than expected, food was very good, drinks were good, music was good for me (I like afro house) - No complaints at all - clean & nice decor & free parking in the place bell building for clients of the restaurant.

Visiting this restaurant when staying at the courtyard across the street. The decoration is amazing & very modern look. We were seated right away for a party of 8 with no reservation. We ordered calamari, pizza & seafood pasta. The food came fairly quickly & they were all so delicious! No concern w anything else, highly recommended!

To start off a little positive - their pizza was really good & just the right level of crispiness. Awesome French fries too! However, we found the calamari was extremely salty & very dried out. That being said, I can't give this place more than 3 stars. For starters, we were a large group of 8 that pretty much ordered right away...& it took over two hours to get our food (no exaggeration). Secondly, I am all for some music to add some ambiance, however, the music was so incredibly loud we couldn't hear anything. My ears were actually ringing by the time we left the restaurant. There's a difference between mood music & concert music. We had to practically yell at the waitress to place our order. Also, our table seemed to be completely forgotten (& we were in the dark) about. To get our water glasses refilled was non existent. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to love this place! The decor is super nice & the food wasn't bad at all...but definitely needs to improve their service & overall ambiance (music, lighting etc..).

Here is my review about this place. It's similar to the one in Faubourg Boisbriands, but I would say it's bigger. 1. Decoration 10/10 Very nicely, decorated compared to the other restaurant. It's wide & has a banquet. It has plants' mirrors. 2. Ambiance 10/10 I was surprised how good the ambiance was very good.Music.Very good people.Everybody was having a good time. 3. Service 10/10 The service there was impeccable. I'm not gonna lie. Each of them knew their menu. always suggest something that you would like. 4. Food 10/10 The food was excellent, very tasty with a lot of suggestions if you are a group. So that way, you don't need to pay for everything. If you want, you can divide your friends from meat lobster tails. You have the choice. 5. Cleanest 9/10 The bathroom was very clean. Smelled good. What was only missing some hand paper. The food was tasty & their alcoholic beverage (sangria) was a treat. Our waitress was friendly enough but service could have been more attentive. The restaurant itself is nice with its decor but it is way too dark! I had to bring the menu extremely close to my face to read it. Also, the music was obnoxiously loud as there was a DJ. We could not converse even with the person sitting next to us. We felt like we were in a nightclub. We saw waitresses taking shots with the patrons as well. Not very professional. I wouldn't recommend coming here as a family or with kids.

Invitation surprise de notre couple d'amis ! Belle surprise & belle découverte ! L'ambiance du samedi soir était incroyable ! Amélie, notre serveuse, nous a traité comme des rois! Beau sourire, sympathique & efficace, elle a fait en sorte de nous faire vivre une belle expérience ! Nous avons pris un pichet de sangria, SUIVEZ LE ROSE, au melon d'eau pour commencer notre soirée... rafraîchissante & délicieuse ! Nous avons partagé deux entrées, le CHOU-FLEUR CACIO E PEPE (après ça vous allez adorer ce légume ! ) & CALAMAR FRITTI (tendres & goûteux). Repas principal, LASAGNE À 50 ÉTAGES, RIGATONI À LA VODKA ROSÉE & menu spécial, SAUMON GRILLÉ SAUCE BÉARNAISE . Tout était chaud & délicieux. Shawn, le propriétaire nous a gentiment offert un shooter au melon, exquis! On voulais passer le dessert mais... On s'est laissé tenter par le MI-CUIT AU CHOCOLAT , wow! & pourquoi pas un shooter Hot Shot ! Le décor est magnifique, la musique n'est pas trop forte, la terrasse est belle & le personnel est sympathique... Tout pour passer un bon moment ! Oh! Le stationnement est à la porte 13, sous la place Bell & il est gratuit, demandez votre coupon à votre serveuse. Merci, il y a longtemps que je n'avais pas passé un si beau moment !

Held a 40+ person event at Gatto Matto & it was great. Ara, our contact person, was very helpful & accommodating, promptly answering all my questions. The service was great, the food came quickly, & everything was delicious. I appreciated that they were well-equipped with a large team to serve our group. The staff managed everything with ease. The guests loved the restaurants decor. The floral wallpaper made for a great background for pictures. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, everything went so smoothly. Highly recommend Gatto Matto for any event!

la nourriture na pas de goût. les drinks alcoolisés sont très bon, surtout le paloma. le service est bien mais un peu lent. le décor est beau. Stationnement payant 20$ car il n'a aucun stationnement dans la rue.

Moi & ma blonde nous y allons souvent & la nourriture est toujours aussi bonne. Nous aimons aussi l'ambiance & la décoration du restaurant qui nous donne toujours le sourire. Le personnel nous a toujours bien traité. Je recommande fortement.

Very disappointed... I heard so many great reviews about this restaurant. The food was average (I ordered the BUCATINI CARBONARA TRUFFE NOIRE). I couldn't swap the bucatini for linguini or fettuccini. I had two drinks. They both barely had any taste, they were watery & had way too much ice (Spritz - Apricot & Sangria - Milan). I didn't even finish any of them. For dessert i had three Cheesecake - New York style. I was okay. Nothing amazing... Overall, disappointed with the food. Our waitress was nice, but nothing extraordinary. The place is beautiful, beautiful decor!! The parking SUCKS! I paid 30$ because I parked at the Place Bell. I have a Christmas diner next week with my colleagues. Hopefully I have a better experience. :)
