I was at Gatto Matto on a Sunday afternoon, working as a photographer for a private event.
The service was exceptionally good; the entire staff is very attentive, professional & pleasant.
The location was clean & attractive.
To top it off, although I was busy working, I was given a complimentary pizza to take home & enjoy. I'm really happy because it was delicious. Tasty topping with a crust that was extraordinary.

I loved everything about this restaurant! So convenient to the Courtyard by Marriott, at Place Bell. The vibe is funky like a restobar & they have a dj some nights. Highly recommend the grilled octopus, brussel sprouts, prosciutto pizza, pistachio tartufo, & nutella bomboloni. I will be trying to copy the first three, they were amazing!!! Generous wine pour too on our Sangiovese. All smiles leaving Gatto matto.
My burrata salad was the highlights. The pizza was a little too salty,the calamari very peppery. Desserts are very good. The music is very loud, be ready to scream. So much was happening that it makes it fun to people watch.
Great choice if you're going to Center Bell or not. The staff was friendly & quick to take our orders. They have a varried drink menu as well as their food menu. Delicious Italian food! If you like calamari, tartares, pasta, pizza, & parmesan fries, then go eat there. The portion size of the main dishes isn't big, but the quality is spot on! The fries were a large amount & mouth watering!
Went there for a table of 2 it took a while for the food to arrive & the food was very mid you could get the same tasting pizza at papa's john. I never leave review but i was very disappointing. Also the drinks were too sweet couldn't taste the wine in the sangria. Would recommend going to Sergiolino & Rosso Cielo more or even Labelle & La Boeuf fir their price range & the quality of the food
Visiting this restaurant when staying at the courtyard across the street. The decoration is amazing & very modern look. We were seated right away for a party of 8 with no reservation. We ordered calamari, pizza & seafood pasta. The food came fairly quickly & they were all so delicious! No concern w anything else, highly recommended!
To start off a little positive - their pizza was really good & just the right level of crispiness. Awesome French fries too! However, we found the calamari was extremely salty & very dried out. That being said, I can't give this place more than 3 stars. For starters, we were a large group of 8 that pretty much ordered right away...& it took over two hours to get our food (no exaggeration). Secondly, I am all for some music to add some ambiance, however, the music was so incredibly loud we couldn't hear anything. My ears were actually ringing by the time we left the restaurant. There's a difference between mood music & concert music. We had to practically yell at the waitress to place our order. Also, our table seemed to be completely forgotten (& we were in the dark) about. To get our water glasses refilled was non existent. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to love this place! The decor is super nice & the food wasn't bad at all...but definitely needs to improve their service & overall ambiance (music, lighting etc..).
Super belle expérience. Tout d'abord l'endroit est très beau & sophistiqué. Il y a beaucoup d'espaces & une terrasse extérieure. Le service est courtois mais in peu lent. Par contre ils étaient conscients de ce problème & s'en sont excusés. Les plats sont très bien présentés & sortent de l'ordinaire. La lasagne 50 étages ou le choux-fleur cacio e pepe par exemple font partie des plats emprunt d'originalité. La qualité est au rendez-vous & le prix est tout de même très raisonnable. Même la salade cesar est excellente, on a même penser en commander une deuxième. Ce qu'on avait fait avec le choux-fleur en entrée. C'était vraiment un coup de coeur, je vous le conseille fortement. Les pâtes au pesto & burrata... wow. Comme en Italie, yes I said it. Crémeuse, goûteuse & généreuse. Un excellent choix, peut-être même le meilleur plat de pâtes de l'endroit. Coté pizza, elles sont toutes excellentes.... je ne saurais pas dire laquelle est la meilleure. Pour vrai, j'ai été agréablement surpris mais à y penser, la bouffe italienne de la région de Montréal est vraiment très bonne & n'a pas à rougir devant ce qui se fait en Italie sauf à ce qui a attrait à la fraîcheur de certain ingrédients bien entendu. Bon rapport qualité-prix , c'est un must. Bon appétit !

Accueil chaleureux! Pizza excellente! Frites ail parmesan wow !! quel bonne idée!!! Gnocchi par contre manquait un peu de sauce !? mais les gnocchis ainsi que le peu de sauce qu'il y avait c'était bon , meme tres bon!!! Bravo pour votre bonne cuisine ! Prix tres raisonnable pour 2024. J'y étais pour l'heure du lunch (midi) & pas de musique de fond ( un peu plate) ! Aussi , les banquettes avec tissus rose un peu tâchées pas tres hot de voir des banquettes de tissus tâchées, mais bon concernant la bouffe c'est un 5 stars !!
Nous étions 2 . Un soir d'événement à la Place Bell , resto plein mais bon roulement pareil & temps d'attente raisonnable. Sangria excellente , pizza burrata & pistache wow coup de coeur , les frites parmesan & ail je ne les reprendrais pas . A 14$ quelle déception de recevoir des frites congelées.....& le goût d'ail & d'épices peu présent :/ Déco au goût du jour , lumineux , féminin . J'y retournerais !
Absolutely loved this restaurant! We started off with drinks : the lychee martini, Classico caesar, blood orange mule & the paloma. All were received very well but the paloma was stronger than all the rest. I then got my appetizer, fried calamari & I loved it! Perfect crisp. For our mains we got the rigatoni pasta, 50 layer lasagna, seafood linguini & the margherita pizza. The two girls who got the lasagna said it was just average. The pizza & rigatoni were amazing though. I had gotten the seafood linguini & it was also average to me. I loved the shrimp & calamari in it though. Our waitress was super sweet & the service was good. The inside of the restaurant really makes it what it is. Just beautiful!! We had a concert at Place Bell the same night, & the restaurant was right next to the venue, so it was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone who is in the area.

My friends & I went for dinner last night. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food. Our appetizers were calamari which were very good & radicchio & endive salad which was fantastic! I had the mortadella & burrata pizza, it was delicious. My friends each had pasta & loved it. The espresso martini was very good too. I will definitely return to this restaurant however I will go on a weekday or earlier in the evening (on a weekend) because it is extremely loud in there & can barely hear anyone talk.
Super bon, la pâte à pizza est top, croustillante & beaucoup de goût ! Le service est de qualité, je dirais le moins est que très peu de place au bar, très à l'étroit Un bon restaurant italien
The restaurant vibes are amazing - fresh, clean & trendy - food is ok however not wow- could be muchly elevated in term of taste while presentation is nice - the only dish I loved was the pasta - had a pasta , pizza & appetizers & dessert - value for money is very good -service can be improved - more menu knowledge is required
Les pizzas & les frites à l'ail sont excellentes. Les portions sont généreuses. Notre serveuse nous a préparé des versions sans alcool des cocktails sur le menu; ils étaient très goûteux. Service chaleureux & rapide. Le niveau sonore du restaurant est élevé, l'ambiance est très animée. Bref, nous avons bien aimé & y retournerons.
Love this spot. I've been a couple of times & it never disappoints. The place is vibey & their litchi martinis are really good! I usually go for their shrimp pizza (super delicious). Their steak & salmon tartare are also pretty good!
