The designer Jacques Gaspo from Foodtastic (behind La Belle & La Boeuf, Souvlaki Bar, Carlos & Pepe’s, Le Blossom, the new Nickels and Bacaro Pizzeria) developed Gatto Matto over a two year period. A revolutionary and Avant-Garde Art Deco concept with a flower bar theme that is a fusion between Chicago and Italy. Using premium materials designed and manufactured in Montreal, the elements marry themselves wonderfully. Bright and vibrant colors give a WOW factor that will make you feel like in a modern Milan hotel with a girly touch. The creation of the open kitchen concept never seen before in the Montreal area (in collaboration with Hagop Hagopian, director of operations at Foodtastic and expert in kitchen design) allows you to see the best chefs in the region at work. No need to travel, we bring Europe to your table.

Amazing experience! We had heard so much about this place but never had a chance to go. I can honestly say it's one of the best if not the best restaurant in Laval! We were a group of 6 so we decided to share the octopus, endive salad, the brussel sprouts chefs special & the lamb chops as appatizers! Every single bite was to die for! I had the Filet mignon & it was cooked to perfection & the mash potatoes with the smoked mozzarella was just heavenly! Service was spot on! The waitress was very attentive & took good care of us! I cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend if your in the Laval area!View more

My husband & I came for our anniversary & we really loved it, from the service to the food everything was excellent, the place is very beautiful & the staff is very kind & attentive, Thomas was excellent & Ara was very cordial with us. We tried the fries with parmesan cheese as a starter (the portion surprised us, much bigger than we imagined & they were delicious), for the main course we ordered the spaghetti with lobster & wow it was so good, the portion was again very generous & for dessert we had brownie a la moda it was a gift from the owner for our anniversary (that made us feel soo special)😍 we will definitely come back many more times!View more

Went there for a table of 2 it took a while for the food to arrive & the food was very mid you could get the same tasting pizza at papa's john. I never leave review but i was very disappointing. Also the drinks were too sweet couldn't taste the wine in the sangria. Would recommend going to Sergiolino & Rosso Cielo more or even Labelle & La Boeuf fir their price range & the quality of the foodView more

Visiting this restaurant when staying at the courtyard across the street. The decoration is amazing & very modern look. We were seated right away for a party of 8 with no reservation. We ordered calamari, pizza & seafood pasta. The food came fairly quickly & they were all so delicious! No concern w anything else, highly recommended!View more
