The place is super cute, the decor & whole ambiance, loved it. The food was great, flavours on point, the server was nice. The drinks are very cute, definitely try their house cocktails(although they didn't have menu for cocktails as they were in the middle of changing the menu or something) but the server was nice & patient & tried to explain the drinks as best as she could, went with her recommendation, didn't disappoint. The place was starting to get packed towards the end of our visit, I think we got lucky that we walked in without reservation & were seated without any wait. Definitely revisiting when I'll be in Montreal next.

Le service irreprochable & l'ambiance parfaite pour un souper entre amis. Le restaurant est très beau, on se croierait dans une enormous serre.
Nous avons pris l'enorme plat degustation pour 2; Le poulet frit, le pad thaï & la salade de papaya étaient bons, cependant, le poisson & les brochettes ne nous ont pas impressionnés. Les cocktails excellents.
J'y retournerais pour essayer les autres plats.
We visited during the night, there was about three people working, wasn't packed or anything but it took them 15 minutes to acknowledge us. We waited by the door for a while & even waved towards them but were ignored. After finally being acknowledged we were seated, no paper menus were given & we were kind of just left by ourselves for a while. We used the menu from their website on our phones & ordered based on that.
The venue was hot. It was cold & rainy outside but the interior was hot, we were sweating at one point. The server forgot about our appetizers (the rolls) & they were bought to us in the end, it was $14 for 4 tiny spring rolls lol. The drinks were also not that great, a Thai iced tea in a tiny cup & the violets cocktail was mid. However, we did enjoy the hainan fried chicken, it was light & refreshing, cooked well. Overall, the service could be a bit better. The atmosphere was nice & the interior was pretty, just wish it was a bit coole

We visited Le Garden Room for the first time to celebrate our 11th anniversary & were warmly welcomed with complimentary champagne-thank you to David for this thoughtful gesture! 🥂
The restaurant's aesthetics with the glass ceiling & greenery were cute & modern. I had the Violetta cocktail, which was light & refreshing-ideal for a low-alcohol drinker like myself.
We ordered the seasonal Lobster party Platter, which came with a variety of dishes including papaya salad, fried Mae Sri roll, pork balls, fish balls, Thai Hainan fried chicken, Pad Thai Mae Sri with shrimps & crispy lobster.
The portion was perfect for two & everything was delicious, though the selection leaned more toward fried items than expected.
For dessert, we shared the mango sticky rice with coconut milk & pandan-absolutely delicious & the perfect sweet (not too sweet) finish to the meal.
Jeanne, our waitress, was absolutely lovely & attentive throughout the evening.
Looking forward to coming back & trying the curry & braised beef next time. Overall, a great experience!

Nous étions un petit groupe de 5 & nous avons adoré notre expérience.
Le cadre est magnifique & original , verdoyant en été, un igloo vitré en hiver, un petit bijou secret bien caché au centre ville de Montréal.
&: chose trop rare de nos jours, on peut s'entendre parler sans crier👏. Les plats sont délicieux , les cocktails aussi, très originaux.
Le rapport qualité prix est excellent.
Notre serveuse Clayre était adorable, chaleureuse & accueillante, elle a pris le temps de vraiment bien nous conseiller sur nos choix de cocktails & de plats qui sont très nombreux!!!! Diane S
10/10 recommend the green curry - it was absolutely delicious. The Tom Yum was unexpectedly VERY spicy. Both individuals that order it thought so.
The cocktails were very weak & served over too much ice. Very watered down. Not worth the $18 price point at all.
Service was okay but it felt as though staff was lacking. Drinks came out at the same time as our food & water refills were few & far between. Otherwise a pleasant experience.
Food was good, although my boyfriend had the chicken & he said it was bland & unseasoned.
Service was horrible. Server/host barely came to check up on us to fill our water or ask us if we wanted another cocktail/beer (which we wanted). Table close by to us came in after us, had drinks refilled & dessert menu offered. They even left before us.
We had to try to catch our waiter's attention 15 mins we were done eating so we could ask for the bill. Was not offered the dessert menu & waited another 15 mins for bill to come while the server was chatting & having a laugh with the bartenders.
Disappointing Experience - Poor Service & Unbalanced Food
We visited Garden Room - Mae Sri last night as a group of five, including two vegetarians, & unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.
From the moment we arrived, the service was slow & inattentive. A thin, bald server with one earring attended to us, & his attitude came off as unwelcoming. It took 20 minutes just to take our order after we were seated. Throughout the evening, we literally had to get up from our table multiple times just to get someone's attention-for placing orders, asking questions, & finally, even to request the bill.
The only highlight of the evening was the bartender, who was genuinely polite & served us some well-made, enjoyable cocktails.
As for the food, we started with the papaya salad, which had good flavor but came in a very small portion for the price.
For mains, I ordered the stir-fried Thai vegetables with rice & my friend had the Pad Thai. We clearly requested them to be made moderately spicy (level 3), as we're quite familiar with spice levels at other Thai restaurants in Montreal. Unfortunately, both dishes arrived bland, with barely any flavor.
We asked for the spice to be adjusted, but what came back was the complete opposite-both vegetarian dishes were so excessively spicy that they were practically inedible. It felt careless & made the experience even more frustrating.
For a bill that came to $75 per person, the service & food quality were far below expectations.
While the ambiance was nice & the cocktails enjoyable, the overall experience-especially the poor service & the inconsistent handling of our food-makes it hard to recommend this restaurant. There's potential, but until the service improves & the kitchen learns to balance flavors properly, I wouldn't return.

We had lunch for two here & the place, food, as well as staff was awesome. Our waiter Mounir was friendly & efficient & transparent regarding waiting time. The cocktails are not stingy with alcohol so it's worth the price. We particularly enjoyed the papaya salad.
Particularly recommended if you are in downtown Montreal - we went on a rainy day & seeing the raindrops through the see-through roof was beautiful.
Excellent service de la part de BENJAMIN. Bon conseil & explique tout le menu parfaitement ! Je recommande fortement. Attention le Rockin' Red (cocktail) est très fort en téquila. Signée le RON

We tried pad thai & boat noodles & they were both delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the cocktail because it was too strong & tasted more like a shot but I guess some people might like that :) For drink I recommend the milk tea. Service & ambiance are great
Très très décevant. Nous sommes venus souper mercredi soir 18 septembre pour une occasion importante. La nourriture était correcte, les cocktails très bons & originaux & le restaurant très beau. Par contre, le service était EXTRÊMEMENT mauvais : * Aucune indication de menu après nous avoir assis (le QR code n'était pas sur la table). De plus, nous avons attendu longtemps juste pour de l'eau. * Beaucoup de personnes sont arrivées après nous, mais ont eu leurs cocktails, voire leur nourriture, avant nous. * Nous avions pris deux entrées & deux plats principaux. La première entrée est venue seule après plus de 40 minutes d'attente. Après indication à la serveuse, elle nous a ramené 10 minutes après un des plats principaux, & non l'entrée qui manquait. Nous lui avons encore indiqué le problème, & la deuxième entrée a suivi après peu. Nous avions donc deux entrées sur la table & un des deux plats principaux. * Une fois le dernier plat arrivé, la serveuse a pris mes couverts & mon entrée que je venais de finir & n'est jamais venue me donner de nouveaux couverts, seulement suite à ma demande. * Les cocktails sont arrivées en derniers donc après plus de 1 heure après avoir passé la commande. Bien que la serveuse était nouvelle, cela n'excuse pas le fait de ramener des plats séparément & de ne même pas se rendre compte de ses erreurs, elle avait l'air plus ennuyée que désolée.
I absolutely really enjoyed my experience here, as I person that has been to Thailand, this place offers you the authentic Thai "street food" that everyone raves about but elevated in the best way. On top of that they have unique cocktails with exotic ingredients that pair surprisingly well with the food. The interior feels like an oasis, the service was attentive & welcoming & the atmosphere/music was a vibe!
