Best Lebanese food I've had so far! Their dip sampler is a must order & chicken was juicy! Reservations are highly recommended.
Food was incredibly bland & tasteless. The dips lacked a garlicky & olive oil taste. The rice lacked any aroma. The chicken & koftan were both bland, dry, & nothing special.
The food was absolutely amazing - everything tasted fresh & full of flavor. The grilled chicken were juicy & well-seasoned, & the appetizers were just as impressive. The staff were really kind & attentive.
The food was amazing, only thing that its way expensive from other, & the dishes was not even full !! Like I had the shish tawok & the chicken was not even 100g for 25$ !! Same thing the meat whith hummus was not even 50g😅. It ended with me hungry with 100$ bill for 2 people.other ways still have a nice taste 👅
Garage Beirut is an absolute gem in Montreal. The food was outstanding across the board, & the chicken shish taouk really stood out. It was tender, juicy, & full of flavor. The hummus & baba ghanouj were incredibly fresh, creamy, & perfectly seasoned. Everything we ordered tasted authentic & well prepared, & you could tell real care went into each dish. Overall, an amazing experience & I would recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, high quality Lebanese food.
Garage Beruit has incredible food! The depth of the flavor in everything we ordered was remarkable! It's one of the best meals I've ever eaten. We ordered the 4 dips on the appetizer menu & each one had a unique flavor drizzled with the best fruity tasting olive oil. We also ordered the 4 deep fried appetizers. The round darker colored one (sorry I don't speak French & I don't remember what it was called) was delicious! The spices in it complemented each other perfectly to create a warm bite of heaven. Then we got the chicken skewer as well. The chicken was perfectly well done, but not over done-juicy & well spiced. Compliments to the chef for a meal I will never forget!
Wow the chicken kabob is one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked & the sides paired so well with it. Absolutely worth going just for that.
Super small & cramped place but did not feel claustrophobic, it's more cozy! Came by without a reservation for lunch (2 people) & was lucky to get a seat. We shared pita, rice, chicken shish taouk & fatteh hummus with beef. The pita was fresh. Shish Taouk: lovely, grilled to perfection, came with creamy, yummy garlic sauce that went very quickly, comes with pickles & some weird pizza looking situation with onions which I did not try but looked good. Fatteh Hummus: a bit disappointed because they were really light on the beef but I've seen photos where they really gave a lot. The crunchy pita chips in the dip were WAY to oily - the establishment would benefit from getting crispy without tons of oil. I genuinely think this dip would've been better with garlic or tzatziki added to it. It was missing a brightness/acid which made it bit plain. The rice was just rice. All in all, I enjoyed my meal & was pretty stuffed. This cost us about $60 before tip.
Delicious shish taouk; juicy chicken & excellently seasoned. The garlic potato chunks are also very nice!!
Garage Beirut offers an exceptional Mediterranean dining experience with its Lebanese mezze & charcoal-grilled meats. The atmosphere is cozy & the manager Naji extremely accommodating. The mezze, including creamy hummus, exquisite muhamarra, refreshing tabbouleh, mouth watering sujok , & freshly stuffed grape leaves, was outstanding. The mixed grill platter we shared between 3 people had a generous portion of chicken & beef kebabs, was grilled to perfection with a smoky, tender, & juicy flavor. The knowledgeable & attentive staff added to the delightful experience. For anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit, earning a well-deserved five-star rating.
The restaurant is quite small & has only a couple of seats so make sure to reserve a spot before coming to this restaurant. Also note that they only take reservations through websites so calling them won't help. The food was amazing. All the meats were quite tender & I really enjoyed the smokey flavours too. The ingredients were pretty good in quality & each dish had great flavours too. I do however find it a bit expensive, around 65$ for 5 skewers of meat which included 2 chickens, 1 filet mignon & 2 lambs. It's true that the quality is pretty good but I do still find it a bit more on the expensive side. The service was decent. The waiter that served us was polite & pretty fast considering he had to navigate inside the crowded restaurant.
Very expensive for what you got. Small portions, & food was good, but nothing incredible. Unlimited pita bread, but it seemed like the same type you can just buy in the grocery store. Dips were drenched in olive oil, chicken was good but small portion for $25. We were disappointed.
Great little spot for authentic middle-eastern food. The charcoal grilled chicken is delicious!
A quaint restaurant near downtown Montreal, in a lively neighborhood. The food is authentic & lovely. The fattoosh salad is great, & so is the stew (fatteh). Of course you can go for grilled meat or chicken, but that's the easy choice. Really one of the best places to each middle-eastern or Lebanese food in Montreal (in addition to Kaza Maza). Go early, call before you go, & reserve online if you can, the place isn't that spacious & can get congested quickly as the quality of the food is high & the prices are reasonable. Enjoy!
Great service & nice guys, but the kebabs both meat & chicken were dry & so bland. Fatteh Hummus was so heavy & needed to be more sour. Nice experience though.
