Review Summary

Fuji Corner draws mixed reactions, with some enjoying flavorful hotpot and ramen, inviting aromas, and a warm, attentive staff guided by a chef who describes offerings well, while others note inconsistency and price concerns. The hotpot is praised for a soothing broth and goji berries, yet the dining room can feel unheated and a seafood allergy concern arose when a dish contained octopus despite assurances that frying options were safe. Dishes vary in quality, with chicken sometimes overcooked and dry and Angus beef reportedly flavorless and previously frozen, while pork balls are delicious and the Hong Kong style clay pot receives praise. The atmosphere is relaxed during slower hours, and service is quick, with many reviewers recommending Fuji Corner to fans of authentic Chinese cuisine, though a few visits feel overpriced or underwhelming overall.

The food wasn't great, tasted like blend & looks like a meal that we can easily make at home... Disappointed 😞

Find myself can cook better & fast, strongly suggest the owner close it & go look for a job.

Very tasty soup of hotpot, even better than what I've tried in China.

We came hoping to get warm. The hot pot choice was soothing, the pictures on the menu were very inviting. After we ordered the hot pot, we waited 45 minutes in the restaurant rather spacious room unfortunately practically unheated.
When asked what was safe for a person with seafood allergy, the chef who spoke very good English, said that all frying options were safe. Oooops, there was a takoyaki balls, octopus, deadly for a person with seafood allergies.
Hotpot arrived, smelling divine, goji berries floating on the surface
The chicken inside was overcooked, dry & bland, the beef that was described as Angus beef in the menu was previously frozen & had no taste, the pork balls we're delicious
Very disappointing overall.
The price of the hot pot for 2 ended up being over 100$, oh well what a waste

Had a late night ramen craving so we decided to explore Chinatown in Montreal. Stumbled across this hidden gem & I'm so glad we did! The broth was flavourful & the soup itself was delicious. All the ingredients were fresh & the staff were amazing & very accommodating!

What a surprisingly fantastic experience I had at this restaurant. My son & I often visit Chinatown but had never noticed this gem. It caught my attention yesterday & we wandered in for the first time. I'm so happy we did! The service was fast & friendly. The food was DELICIOUS. The spicy szechuan beef was INCREDIBLE. I also got to try a bit of my son's beef ramen & truly it was SO enjoyable. That experience made my whole day. We will definitely be back! Hats off to the chef who is doing great work (& was incredibly kind).

I love this place! Best chicken soup hotpot ever. My husband & I traveled from Ottawa & we found this cute restaurant in Chinatown. I had headache that day so we both decided to have something warm & healthy then we ordered this. Family owned business & the lady was really nice & offered us a free noodles with the soup hotpot. We will def come again for this place.

We loved the pork belly chicken hot pot & the marinated raw shrimps! House special lychee black tea was also great to pair with the hot pot. Overall it was an awesome experience at Fuji Corner & we had so much fun talking to the lovely owner Raymond. Will be back next time in town!

My mother & I found this place by chance & we were incredibly impressed. Raymond (the owner) is an absolute gem! He was sooo sweet & he was especially helpful with my mother's food restrictions. The food is absolutely delicious & MSG free, & all of his ingredients are very fresh. I especially loved the Angus Beef Ramen. The spot itself is very clean & has a really beautiful mural on the wall. The prices are very reasonable too. I'm definitely coming back!!
