Review Summary

Fuji Corner receives mixed feedback, with many patrons praising the authentic flavors of the hotpot, ramen, and clay pot dishes while highlighting the warm and accommodating nature of the staff. While several diners consider it a hidden gem featuring delicious, high-quality cuisine, others expressed disappointment regarding the temperature of the dining area, the quality of specific ingredients like the beef, and concerns over allergy safety protocols. Overall, the atmosphere is generally described as relaxing and welcoming, making it a popular choice for those seeking a comforting meal in the heart of Chinatown.

We came hoping to get warm. The hot pot choice was soothing, the pictures on the menu were very inviting. After we ordered the hot pot, we waited 45 minutes in the restaurant rather spacious room unfortunately practically unheated.
When asked what was safe for a person with seafood allergy, the chef who spoke very good English, said that all frying options were safe. Oooops, there was a takoyaki balls, octopus, deadly for a person with seafood allergies.
Hotpot arrived, smelling divine, goji berries floating on the surface
The chicken inside was overcooked, dry & bland, the beef that was described as Angus beef in the menu was previously frozen & had no taste, the pork balls we're delicious
Very disappointing overall.
The price of the hot pot for 2 ended up being over 100$, oh well what a waste

I love this place! Best chicken soup hotpot ever. My husband & I traveled from Ottawa & we found this cute restaurant in Chinatown. I had headache that day so we both decided to have something warm & healthy then we ordered this. Family owned business & the lady was really nice & offered us a free noodles with the soup hotpot. We will def come again for this place.

We loved the pork belly chicken hot pot & the marinated raw shrimps! House special lychee black tea was also great to pair with the hot pot. Overall it was an awesome experience at Fuji Corner & we had so much fun talking to the lovely owner Raymond. Will be back next time in town!

I wanted to like this place, but I couldn't. The music was good, the vibe was good, but the food was disappointing. My edamame was chewy & felt stale in my mouth. The ramen had a hard boiled egg without flavor, & I prefer a marinated soft boiled egg (it's my favorite part). My ramen didn't have a whole lot of flavor. I've never had ramen that came with the type of meat I got. It was like chicken-on-a-stick type of chicken instead of mean slices. I was just overall disappointed in my food. The service was great though!

Not as Japanese as expected, but still good. The staff is great & the food is alright. The rice burger tasted good & full of sauce, but that makes it too wet to hold in the hands. The chicken curry was also good, but boiled chicken skin left a bad taste.
