Franklin's Subs and Suds est situé sur la rue St-Paul dans le Vieux-Montréal. Le sous-marin « Philly cheesesteak » à l’honneur au Franklin’s Subs and Suds. Le décor est très réconfortant, jeux d’arcade, magnifique graffiti avec musique d’ambiance.
Les avis convergent pour décrire une ambiance chaleureuse et décontractée avec une déco rétro et une playlist entraînante, et un service rapide et attentionné. La carte est variée et généreuse, avec des coups de coeur pour le smoked meat sandwich, la poutine et le Philly cheesesteak, sans oublier les burgers et les accompagnements qui reçoivent souvent des compliments; les cocktails et les boissons sont également bien appréciés et les portions généreuses. Certaines remarques mentionnent que la poutine peut être un peu grasse ou manquer de saveur selon les plats, et que l'ambiance peut etre plus bruyante que prévu, pas forcément adaptée aux jeunes enfants. We are locals & this was our first time there. The inside is cleverly decorated & fun. We were greeted right away by a young man that seems to do everything with warmth & a smile. We sat at the window. He guided us with his menu knowledge & we ordered a delicious sub with lotsa meat & cheese, poutine & fried pickles.

Tasnime is the GOAT, she's amazing, so fun to talk to. greatest poutine ever, i will come back to this place when i come back to montreal in the future. so delicious.
Place was packed. Perfect location for lunch after visiting the museum. Being a good dad I waited for a table & enjoyed a pint at the bar while kids looked at nearby shops. Food was great. Best cheese steak I've had.
Atmosphere was relaxed & exciting at the same time. Enjoyed some local guys singing along to country songs at the bar. Would go again.
Service, food, & atmosphere were all incredible!!! Definitely will be coming back when I visit Montreal in the future. Shoutout to our server Jeff, he was amazing 10/10 service. I ordered the regular smoked meat sandwich. The meat was juicy snd delicious, the sourdough bread was freshly baked, the pickle had a nice crunch, & the mustard gave a nice acidic kick! Mouthwatering is definitely an understatement! As someone who takes pride in the food they eat, I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Montreal to come to this gem of a restaurant.
Visiting Montreal for an Orchestra tour, had a local recommend Franklin's & it lived up to expectation! The service was fast, atmosphere was fun, & food was amazing. Our server, Jeff was very kind & welcoming, & overall we had an amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend.
The smoked meat sandwhich was delicious, & Jeff was a kind & attentive server! The interior has great music & ambiance, definitely a must visit place if you are in Montreal!
