Terrible experience. Was very excited by the prospect of smoked meat sandwiches & was completely disappointed. We waited almost 40 MINUTES for these incredibly sad looking excuses of a'smoked meat' sandwich. I paid $20 for this plate which is absolutely insane, a single sad pickle & meat between 2 slices of untoasted & soggy bread. My friend ordered a Philly cheese steak which was literally ground beef with American cheese on a hotdog bun. THATS IT. Terrible experience, do not bother going here & a complete waste of money.

I ordered a smoked meat poutine as I saw many reviews mention it. The meat was nothing special, & it did taste like regular deli meat as opposed to higher quality smoker meat. They also added some fairly strong mustard to the top of the poutine, which I did not think worked well with everything. I paid for extra cheese, but I still feel like it was not enough. The gravy had a decent amount of flavor.

We enjoyed the bar atmosphere. Sitting by the giant open window on a lovely summer evening was delightful. The staff was very friendly, but inattentive despite it maybe being one third full. The smoked meat sandwich was delicious, & raised it up to a 3 star food rating overall. My family did not enjoy the steamed (a Montreal thing) classic hot dogs, nor the undercooked corn dog, & gave their food a 2 out of 5. However, sold a Montreal style hot dog is your thing, it could be good. I still can't recommend the corn dog. The fries were fine. The fried pickles & remoulade were decent, if not remarkable. The fried mozzarella sticks were good & included salsa. It's a strange inclusion if you are American & used to marinara, but it kind of works.
