I stopped by Franklin's for takeout & had mixed feelings about the meal. The smoked meat sandwich was a bit disappointing as the meat wasn't very tender & lacked the texture I was expecting. The burger was decent, but nothing that really stood out.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the poutine. It was fresh, flavorful, & easily the best part of the order.

Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but based on this visit I'd probably come back for the poutine rather than the smoked meat.

Awesome bar in Old Montreal. Came in to catch some World Cup while on vacation & loved the food, drinks, & vibe. Best poutine of our trip as well.

Great experience. Unfortunately the gravy is no gluten free so I couldn't try that but all the parties had a great poutine otherwise.

Tried the smoked meat sampler & it was bomb.

Service is awesome & love the atmosphere.

Would come back again when I'm in the city to recommend the poutine to friends.

Nous sommes arrêté pour le dîner. Petit mais chaleureuxvLa place est plus où moins à la moitié. Le temps que nous passons notre commande, çà se remplit. Décor un peu disparate. Menu simple : burgers, sous-marins, smoked meat & poutines.
