I had high expectations when entering this establishment. I saw the reviews, photos & I was excited to try this place. Before this place, I tried Lester's Deli & Schwartz.
The service was good. She was nice & promptly helped us. Nothing much to say but she was nice.
Ordered the smoked meat sandwich, poutine & a hotdog wiz cheese. The smoked meat sandwich was a big surprise but not in a good way. I was told that they switched their smoked meat(resource) from a different a place. When I asked my waitress when did they made the changes she said today, which is December 21st.
The meat wasn't red like the other places but I couldn't taste anything that was smoked meat. I thought it was roast beef but it really wasn't good at all.
Poutine was average. Cheese curd wasn't squeaky & it didn't have much of a chew. Hotdog was average, but it was cheap. I think the hotdog is for eating to fill that to enjoy the taste.
I don't know if she was being serious that they changed their smoked meat that day. I hope she wasn't messing with me.
I think the food might taste better if you are drunk or a bit tipsy. I don't drink unfortunately so I cannot see if that would be the case. Maybe it was a bad night, maybe something changed within the business. But it was disappointing that night & my review is based on that night.

Absolutely Love! Was recommended as my tour guide's favourite poutine spot in Old Montreal, & while I didn't get that, their Smash Burger did not disappoint at all! Highly recommend!

Food & drinks were awesome & our server Theo was great as well really liked the set up, food & drinks came out pretty quick as well. Had the smoke meat sandwich that was hot & fresh & my wife had a poutine that she thoroughly liked, also had a the bloody Ceasar so good had to have two!

Best place to watch the ballgame. Best drinks & amazing atmosphere. Poutine was amazing but so were the cocktails. A great place to have fun & meet amazing people!!

Food was decent, went in to share a beer & a poutine. Server was passive aggressive, very snappy & not understanding. Definitely a lot of attitude, & kept on circling around wanting us to order more when my partner & I only wanted to try their poutine. Prices were a little higher than what it's worth, especially the beer. Not the spot if you're a student, go somewhere else. Atmosphere was rather quiet & chill, unlike the server. I'd much rather go to some other place locally.

Small place which we went too for the poutine. Was unique since it had smoked meat & pickles which sounds strange but combines really well

It was pretty decent! The original philly was SO good & great to share - would have loved a little more meat in it, but amazing flavor & OG cheese whiz. The poutine was nothing to go crazy for. It had decent flavor from the gravy alone, but it was soupy & soggy, & nothing special. Would recommend you get a sandwich here & stop for poutine down the street!
Fyi for parents, there are PlayBoy magazines all over the walls.

Sandwiches & poutine are good, onions rings are top notch, limited draft beer variety but good ones. Decor ain't too shabby either!
