J'y suis allé pour un brunch entre amis & c'était la première fois que j'essayais ce restaurant. Le menu & l'ambiance m'a vraiment surpris !!!! Le décor est vraiment spécial & très charmant. Côté nourriture, c'était excellent, mais le service était un peu lent chose qui est normal à l'heure du brunch un dimanche.
Cozy & stylish place to dine in. Foiegwa was recommended by a few of my close friends who had great things to say about the menu items.
A few of us chose la table d'hôte which is great for those who come here for the first time & would like to taste a bit of everything, while I ordered the homemade truffle spaghetti with oysters on the side. The oysters were slightly too salty in my opinion. The pasta was impeccable & we had to make sure everyone tried it!!
We also ordered their cocktails, the Mariposa (the drink on the left) was delightful
Chaque fois que je vais au Foigwa, c'est toujours une belle expérience incroyable. Le classique spaghetti monté au beurre & truffe noire est toujours mythique. Il faut le détour !

Bonne ambiance générale & cadre agréable. Le restaurant a une vibe sympa, animée sans être trop bruyante, ce qui rend l'expérience conviviale & plaisante.
Le service est clairement un point fort. Personnel attentif, souriant & efficace, rien à redire de ce côté-là. On se sent bien accueilli & bien pris en charge tout au long du repas.
Côté assiette, en revanche, c'est plus mitigé. Les portions sont assez petites par rapport aux prix pratiqués, ce qui laisse une impression de rapport qualité-prix un peu décevant.
La qualité des plats est correcte, mais sans réel effet wow. Rien de mauvais, mais rien de particulièrement mémorable non plus, surtout compte tenu des attentes.
Au final, une expérience correcte grâce à l'ambiance & au service, mais la cuisine & les portions ne justifient pas totalement le prix.
The brunch at Foie Gras was a real disappointment. I found it very average, with low-quality ingredients & flavors that were simply not there. The taste was lacking overall & did not meet expectations for a brunch experience.
On the positive side, their pasta dishes & the burger are actually quite decent & much better than the brunch. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for how underwhelming the brunch was.
This place is such a cozy spot with great food & service. I love the diner vibes & the place is great for conversations. The service was quick & friendly & the prices are reasonable.
My husband & I stumbled upon Foiegwa while researching breakfast places in Montreal, & we're so glad we decided to give it a try. We arrived around 10:00 AM on a Sunday, & the restaurant was about half full, with a relaxed & welcoming atmosphere.
After looking through the menu, my husband ordered the smoked duck Benedict, while I chose'Le Foiegwa Slam', paired with a freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
Let me tell you, the pancake was spectacular. Perfectly fluffy, rich in flavor, & absolutely delicious. It was hands down one of the best pancakes I've had in a long time. The entire plate was well-balanced. My husband also really enjoyed his smoked duck Benedict, which was flavorful & well executed.
Honestly, this meal alone felt worth the visit to Montreal. We'll definitely be coming back & highly recommend it to anyone looking for a breakfast or brunch experience.
The food, the wine & mostly Sarah our waitress were amazing, don't sleep on spaghetti you might regret it. First time, been waiting for a while to go & honestly my wife was happy, so was I. Thank you for the experience
