duck(100) recommend(92) sake(85) dishes(77) bar(75) sashimi(74) vibe(65) chicken(62) qualite(48) japanese(47) fresh(47) sushi(46)The food is fresh & tasty. We had the chicken & duck which were perfectly cooked & grilled. The fish platter is also super fresh. Note that this is not traditional sushi; the rice is different & you build the sushi yourself. However, the soy sauce was imported directly from Japan & the dish tasted amazing. It is on the pricier side for sure.
A friend suggested we go to this restaurant, the name is a bit funny but once inside... just wow. The atmosphere, music & service were amazing. The food was absolutely mouth watering. It was fun sharing dishes with my group & everyone had an amazing time. It's only a 5 minute walk from the Montreal convention center.

Super bon! Le service était très bien aussi. Belle ambiance. La musique était un peu forte - difficile de s'entendre parfois .

5 stars! Just a tad issue regarding bones found in one of the pieces of sashimi which could be a serious problem for some.
Très jolie expérience, aussi bien dans le régal du palais (les mets & sakés), que le régal des oreilles (bonne ambiance musicale très speak easy) & avec un service au top & très souriant :-). Fera partie de mes bonnes adresses dorénavant. Gracias.

Quelle belle première expérience! L'ambiance était sympathique, la nourriture était succulente & notre serveur était aux petits soins! ✨
10/10 spot in Montreal for incredible Japanese. The way the restaurant is set up is fantastic as most seating is "bar" seating, authentically Japanese, so you can watch the staff prepare certain dishes (we got lucky & were sat right in front of the sushi counter). Excellent ambiance from the second you walk in & great music. As for the food, I have no words. The chirashi sushi was phenomenal - the fish was so fresh & tender with impeccable taste. Was so nice to see the wasabi be freshly prepared to order for each dish which impressed us. The aged duck was absolutely mouthwatering & would highly recommend. However, surprisingly to us, the star of the night was the fried chicken. I don't even know where to begin in describing the dish so all I will say is it is a *must* order. Plus we were pleasantly surprised by the portion size! We love fried chicken & this was hands down the best fried chicken either of us had ever tried. We'll be going back just for the chicken. Can't praise it enough. Service was good but a bit slow, although I think this is intentional from the restaurant so you can get a full experience. There was a bit of a hiccup where we didn't get one of our dishes but our server was a pro & took care of it immediately & made sure the issue was rectified & comped which we felt was super nice. Overall a truly hidden gem in Montreal that merits all of the 5 star reviews it has amassed. Cannot wait to go back asap & also check out Sans Soleil in the basement.

Une belle découverte! Service attentionné & efficace pour nous permettre de quitter à l'heure convenue (spectacle à 20h), les recommandations étaient effectivement délicieuses & tout le personnel travaille en équipe pour offrir une expérience agréable. On y reviendra assurément! Merci!
FOOD. GOOD. In all seriousness, every single item we had on Fleurs & Cadeaux's menu showed great attention to detail, with some unique fusion of savoury flavours. Everything was a highlight in its own regard. Nothing missed, even slightly. As such, I highly recommend the soy-based fried chicken, as well as the swordfish, tuna & salmon sashimi. The tofu, duck, & braised pork were also unparalleled dishes. To finish, although I consider their Crème Brûlée to have more so the consistency of a Crème Caramel (thicker), the combination of matcha & fresh blueberries made it an exquisite dessert. Also, honorable mention to the Yuné cocktail. Bang for your buck.
