Loved the rustic design. Food isn't quite authentic like in China, but delicious anyway. The place was packed, need to wait long time for the table, but it's totally worse it. You can choose the level of spiciness.
Incredible flavors & perfectly spicy! Every dish we tried was full of bold, authentic taste. The staff was friendly & welcoming, & the atmosphere is lively & fun. A must-visit for anyone who loves a little heat in their meal!
Delicious & authentic food from chengdu. Everything was flavorful & the portions are huge compared to other restaurants. The string beans & eggplants are so good & addicting.
The interior is a vibe. It really feels like you're eating at a local street stall in chengdu. Service is fast & the staff are friendly.
Well, I have to say it
Probably the best & most authentic sichuan restaurant we have in montreal
A little bit long line, but if you can get in from the first 10 tables , you should be ok
Personally we waited from 11😅& luckily there only 1 group of 3 waiting ahead of us
The decor is very old fashion chinese street restaurants vibe, almost feel like a museum
The staff welcomed us in very passionately & friendly & seated us
Offered apron as well as hair band for the long hair girls (which you may keep)
We ordered both dessert, which both are very good
As main, we ordered zi-gong style stir fried chicken (boneless) + spicy frog
I would say the chicken is so amazing that I can't stop eating it 🤤? even all the vege that inside the dish are so flavourful
The frog taste almost like spicy fish, & the zucchini in there just such a nice touch
Totally worth going, only if the line up is not too crazy 😅
Very authentic food. super cute design inside! Pricey but the portions are large so it justifies it. Great for big groups.
Food was tasty, very authentic Chinese food!
Only downside is the long wait time but worth the wait for the food! Will return again :)
Authentic Sichuan cuisine with unique interior design. Can't get much better than this. Great addition to downtown mtl. Very popular so be prepared to wait a bit during peak times (weekends, dinner).
I had one portion of'Twice cooked porked' & one of'Kong Pao Chicken'.
The portions are huge, a single portion is too much for one person alone & should be shared.
The twice cooked pork was delicious & tasted just like in Chengdu.
The Kong Pao Chicken was good but didn't taste authentic, they added some chayote to the recipe which I've never seen before, it was also more on the sweet side.
The waiting staff was great, they were helpful & kind.
I'm looking forward to come back & try other dishes!
This is honestly the most authentic szechuan food available in Montreal. Loved it in Toronto & the quality is just as good here. So spicy so perfect.
It's the real deal.
Young, fresh, clean & very friendly.
Authentically executed Sichuan cuisine.
Staff speaks English & gives detailed explanations on dishes, flavors & ingredients.
It's a wonderful addition to the Montreal Asian scene.
If you have never been, & you like spicy authentic Sichuan food, don't walk, run!
