This place is amazing! I had my sister's engagement party here, & we all enjoyed the private banquet room. The food was great & plentiful, the ambiance was amazing, & the staff was wonderful. Her wedding planner Omega Design Events Maurice had suggested the restaurant. We didn't even have to really decorate because the banquet room was so nice it didn't need anything added. What we got felt like a bargain & we are definitely going to have more special events & parties here. Every one of our guests was very happy & the managers were very helpful in every way, guiding us through all their offerings & really caring about the experience for us & our guests. For example, they were very open to sit down & tell us what food choices they had & recommended what would pair well with certain dietary restrictions of some of our guests.

Première visite au Ferreira Café.
Premièrement, le service est exceptionnel!
Calmars frits, pieuvre croustillante, risotto aux champignons avec cuisse de canard confit, bouillabaisse & tartelettes portugaises en dessert.
La bouillabaisse était bien malgré que le bouillon ne goûtait pas grand chose. La pieuvre était correcte mais le goût aurait pu être meilleur.
Critiques: les tables sont un peu trop tassées l'une contre l'autre, assez cher mais la visite en vaut la peine.
Je recommande fortement ce restaurant portugais.

Première visite est c'est pas notre dernière . Ont est allé le midi . J'ai fait une réservation est ont est arrivé 30 minutes avant . Pas de problèmes ont nous a donné une table . J'ai pris une entrée Sardines grillées sur pain . Mon épouse une salade Laitue Locavore . Très bon les 2. Plats moi la morue Noir Rôti est mon épouse la Pieuvre Lagareiro. Les 2 plats c'était vraiment délicieux . Dessert Crème brûlée très bien préparer est bon avec un bon café . Service impeccable par un jeune homme qui prend bien soin des clients qui nous a recommandé dès assiettes quand on était pas certain quoi choisir .

Ferreira lived up to it's reputation!
It was a lovely everything so we opted to eat outside, they have done a nice job with a covered terrace decorated with beautiful hanging flower baskets & nice decor touches.
The service was very good, our glasses were always filled, clean cutlery & we were on somewhat of a tight schedule & the servers ensure we finished on time.
The dishes we great, amazing flavors, nicely plated, good size portions & exceptional fragrances.
We highly recommend it if you're looking to experience a great meal at a long standing Montreal staple !

The Restaurant manager Caroline was kind & welcoming in-spite of I was not the customer on that day. Love the ambiance of the restaurant. Will recommend this restaurant & will make this as my business dinner spot.

What an incredible meal we had with my party there. While there was a slight misunderstanding with our waiter, we had the most flavorful & varied food. Each bite made me travel straight back to Portugal, which was exactly what I needed for my birthday!

I couldn't recommend more this spot - & the seafood rice. It comes in a gorgeous Le Creuset Pot & tastes just like Portugal.

We absolutely loved it, fantastic!! No surprise its Michelin guide recommended - it was so very good. We had the presunto pata negra & sardine appetizers. Then everyone of our meals were outstanding which we ultimately shared as a family of 4. Our top favorite, the Octopus lagareiro, cod, & rice with seafood. Our kids were over the moon loving it. We've been to Portugal, New England, NJ & have tried many pasties de nata. Get this dessert & get the cheesecake - you will thank us later - amazing!!

My sister recommended this restaurant to us. We made a reservation on the Open table app & had an extraordinary experience. A lovely ambience & fantastic staff, but even better food! We tried the octopus starter & some oysters, for dinner we ordered the halibut & black cod followed by the chocolate mousse dessert. Our server Michael was chatty & made the evening even more enjoyable.

I have been many times over the last 16 years & have been blown away with the quality of the food, exceptional service & experience each time. 100% recommend! From their mainstays like the blackened cod, the octopus, their fresh fish & seafood selection is always impeccable.

Carlos has also been importing his wines & olive oil so you can enjoy them at the restaurant & also buy the amazing olive oil to take home… We go through litres a year.

If you're visiting Montreal this is a must on your list (reservations strongly recommended) they are busy year round.

I have been going to this restaurant for years now & it always delivers perfect food with a premium service experience. Honestly, one of the best place to go for Portuguese food & wine. Highly recommend it!
