All goooood! But please provide glasses to have water :) I feel bad using disposable glasses to have a glass of water. Cheeers.

THE place to go for a quick & tasty Falafel sandwich. I've been a fan for years of their original Wellington Str. (Verdun) outlet, but their St. Viateur branch (this photo) is great to visit too. One negative point : the last time I stopped by at St. Viateur, my pita bread was "stone cold", which made my sandwich much less appealing. A special oven to keep their bread warm was going to be purchased, they told me. Let's keep an eye on that promise!

Staff were friendly, quick, & accommodating. The food belonged in the trash though. Pita was cold & soggy Falafel was lukewarm Humus was just toss in a lump at the bottom There was an overwhelming pickle flavour that dominated the dish Fries were soggy & lukewarm Sure the portions were big, but more trash is still trash. Adjust your ingredients Do a quick fry of the pita before sending it out & flash fry your fries before you do the final fry If you are thinking about going here to eat, don't. Not worth the $20 I spent

Soggy & cold. I usually don't write reviews but this was pretty bad. $18 for a wet mess that I didn't finish. Staff was fine, food left much to be desired. Will not be coming back

Not as good as the temporary location at Atwater. The fries were not seasoned well & even though they were made fresh they were soggy. It was weird. Went on a Sunday evening around dinner time & the falafels were cold. My dinner partner got a salad & felt sick from it. I really have to give props to the staff at the Atwater location during summer 2024. They made me a fan of Falafel Yoni & that's why I wanted to try out this location when I was back in Mtl, but I will not be back! So go check out the Atwater spot if you can...they put a lot of care into my sandwich (fresh falafel made to order) & fries (so much zaatar).

We went to the Wellington location tonight. The food was delicious, however the restaurant closes at 9pm, & we walked in at 8:30pm. The host packed our food in a to-go bag (even though we told him we would be eating in as the restaurant only closed in 30 minutes). He told us that they were closing & forced us to eat in our car (definitely not food that is car friendly). Had he told us that we would not be able to eat-in from the start (even 30 minutes prior to close) we would not have ordered period. Had the owner been present I doubt this would have happened. Don't bother going to eat if you're not there an hour before close. Disappointed at my experience, but the food is excellent. I'd order to-go.

Edited 4 month later: Thank you for selling these delicious sauces that we can enjoy eating at home.BUT PLEASE, clean your restaurant including 🚻. Loved falafel pita. Tasted as good as in Israel 💝 It would be nice to have a little decor & clean up. Atmosphere is a bit depressing, doesn't give you a desire to dine-in. But I do recommend this place & I will be back.

Hands down the best falafal sandvich I have tried in Montreal. Their amba sauce is super addictive, i order that extra everytime & eat it with literally everything other than tea/coffee lol

The falafel plate was okay, the wood fire flavor of the pitas was good. The plate could have more vegetables instead of a pickle.

Falafels can be the worst food on the planet. Most chains & many places fry the falafel, let it sit until someone comes in to buy it. & it's a mess. Falafel Yoni is a totally different deal. First, falafels can come in sizes from kinger marbles, then to golf balls, & I've had some almost the size of hardballs. Then when you crack open the falafel, it should be green in colour. The outside should be crisp, the interior soft & pillowy. There should be a sesame forward dip to put it into, if it's not already in a pita sandwich. But the real way to know is just to eat it on its own. & these are delicious on their own. No dip. No pita. Nothing else. Just the falafel. Which is the litmus test. These are perfectly sized, crisp on the outside, & soft on the inside. The flavour is outstanding. You could just buy a bag & fight over it -- which is precisely what we did. If you don't like falafels, because all you've eaten are the marginal ones sitting in an aluminium pan that get microwaved when you order them for a sandwich, this is the cure. Also, they make a drink called Limonana -- which is made in house. It's a lemonade with mint. You can fight over that too. Or you can just go on your own or buy two orders of each.

I mostly do takeout, as the place is quite small & packed at lunch. Good food, chill people.

Les falafels sont frais frais frais! Le pitas est plain de légumes & avec un zeste d'agrumes qui rend le tout encore plus léger & frais. Pour vrais wow, bonne place.
