Bienvenue au restaurant Ethan, situé sur la rue de la Gauchetière, coin St-Urbain, en plein coeur du quartier chinois de Montréal. Vous serez ravis de déguster cette savoureuse cuisine chinoise authentique, où tous les plats coûtent moins de 10$! Vous pouvez ainsi découvrir une variété de délicieux mets, tels du porc, du canard rôti, le fameux poulet Général Tao, ou bien la délicieuse soupe de vermicelles, préparée avec du porc BBQ au miel. General tao looked like the costco'general tao' & the pork strips tasted a bit like churros… the noodles from the dish at the top of the plastified menu is just instant noodles or taste a lot like it. The soup had not much flavor even when I added enough soy sauce to change its colo

C'est un bon petit restaurant où vous pouvez vous en sortir pour pas très cher en mangeant quelque chose de bon & de copieux.
Les plats sont en moyenne entre 8,90 & 13.90 & très copieux.
L'ambiance est pas folle le service est bon , souriant & très rapide.

A lot of the views on here are precious. Yes, tipping is customary. They tend to be pretty busy so sometimes the service is abrupt but it was very quick & efficient. Really big portions too. I kind of like the old school atmosphere - pretty girls hanging on their boyfriends every word for now, old couples enjoying a moment together, reminiscing about how they first went to restaurants when they met. Wait, that was us.

This place is just incredible. High quality food, I went with four people & between us our 6 dishes came hot, top quality, & in under 10 minutes. The prices are absolutely insane - 18 fried dumplings for about $10, 10 spring rolls for $7 - SO good! I can't recommend this place more.

Gave an old Chinese restaurant We landed in Montreal & found this restaurant because my friends were craving for duck. We ordered some other dishes. In general, food was fine but I'd not come back if I crave for Chinese food

C'est une de ces places qui misent sur la rapidité du service & sur un prix raisonnable des plats. Les mets sont savoureux aussi. Preuve qu'ils respectent leurs clients : même quand on vient payer, la première option de pourboire qu'on voit, c'est 12% & non 20% comme tous les autres restaurants maintenant. Le prix du special midi, avec service & pourboire 15% m'est souvent moins cher qu'un repas équivalent dans une chaîne de restauration rapide.

Little Chinese restaurant in chinatown with over 150 choices on the menu. Also serving Bbq duck & pork. Service is extremely fast. Received all my food within 10 minutes of ordering. Prices are very affordable! Probably, not the best in chinatown, but definitely worth a try. 8.2/10

Always looking forward to try different Chinese restaurants. Indeed, this was also the best one. My personal fav was the soup dumpling. It was nice restaurant + friendly staff. Even the kitchen chef's at the kitchen also serve the food. ❤️

Quick food service & a nice place. Very inexpensive!! I was shocked at how low the prices were (in a good way). I really liked the food, especially the rice. I suggest a combo meal & a beverage if you're two people.

We were party of 6. Sufficient room to accommodate multiple guests. Quick service. Friendly staff. Delicious authentic Cantonese dishes. Beef soup was excellent. The spring rolls were the best. Highly recommend Restaurant Ethan in China Town, Montreal Canada.

Visited this Chinese cantonese restaurant because we we searching for a place to warm up with some good hot soup. We ordered chicken corn soup & the beef soup with a side of crispy spring rolls:). Both were excellent! We also ordered the chicken fried rice, broccoli chicken, chow mein, we enjoyed all dishes the General taos chicken could have been crispier but it wasn't bad. Overall we had a nice experience. Ambiance was decent however the restroom could have used some attention. One staff member should be dedicated to this. Will visit again when in Montreal!

I have been eating takeout from there for 3 days straight & it's soooooo damn good. The Shanghai Noodles with chicken, General Tao & Beef with Brocoli are to die for. & the service is quick & simple & everyone is very polite.
