Vous serez ravis de déguster cette savoureuse cuisine chinoise authentique, où tous les plats coûtent moins de 10$! Vous pouvez ainsi découvrir une variété de délicieux mets, tels du porc, du canard rôti, le fameux poulet Général Tao, ou bien la délicieuse soupe de vermicelles, préparée avec du porc BBQ au miel. Bref, le menu saura convenir à tous les goûts et appétits!
Le restaurant Ethan est d'ailleurs très connu par les gens du quartier, qui apprécient non seulement ses repas exquis, mais la rapidité et la courtoisie du personnel, qui vous permet ainsi de prendre le temps de manger votre repas du midi, surtout si vous êtes à votre heure de lunch!

The service was excellent *despite being seriously under staffed*. While racing around like a headless chicken to all of her tables, our server managed to find an extra table to pull up alongside ours to make us more comfortable as we were initially quite squashed together.
But what really soured the experience & means I won't return to this restaurant is the manner in which they asked for a tip- rather than handing me the machine & allowing me to choose (& due to their good prices & good service I probably would have self selected 18%), instead the lady at the counter asked me'so how was your service today?' When I said'very good thanks' her response was'so will you be leaving a 18% or 20% tip?'
I've lived in Montreal for 6 years & felt like she was giving me the ignorant tourist treatment- putting me on the spot & forcing a higher tip out of me.
We will NOT be returning, this is a horrible way to ask for a tip & completely overshadows the hard work of your servers!!!
This place is just incredible. High quality food, I went with four people & between us our 6 dishes came hot, top quality, & in under 10 minutes. The prices are absolutely insane - 18 fried dumplings for about $10, 10 spring rolls for $7 - SO good! I can't recommend this place more.
Little Chinese restaurant in chinatown with over 150 choices on the menu. Also serving Bbq duck & pork. Service is extremely fast. Received all my food within 10 minutes of ordering. Prices are very affordable! Probably, not the best in chinatown, but definitely worth a try. 8.2/10
Quick food service & a nice place. Very inexpensive!! I was shocked at how low the prices were (in a good way). I really liked the food, especially the rice. I suggest a combo meal & a beverage if you're two people.
Ate here for the third time in probably the last five years today (Christmas). Was busy as it often is. Ordered yellow currey chicken with a tea. Service was quick. Portion was at least average. The prices are low here. It isn't the Taj Mahal. I'm not convinced the bad reviews are warranted. Frankly they were quite scary but most pertain to tipping. I was not asked to leave a tip in advance or at all.

your typical hong kong style cafe- fast easy food when you're on the go. cannot speak for the main dishes, but the sesame balls were delicious (bought them 3 times) - you cannot beat the price of 20 pieces for CA $6.95!
Good service. Missing some A/C. Dumplings shrimp soup ok. It was not a great choice on a very muggy day [ my fault] . The shrimp toast was very good. The 20 dumplings for 10$ were soggy on the inside , not the best I have ever had, but the beef & broccoli were capital D elicious ,so much in the plate. Would have loved more of the beef sauce for the Chinese broccoli . Second time there. Very good prices for the amount of food. 46 plus tip for 3 people, soft drinks & extra rice. Good value

If you want awesome Cantonese BBQ you won't go wrong here. Price & food taste can't be beat. Amazing portion size & again taste is up there with the best in CA. Highly recommend. By the way if your doing the hop on/off buss tour at stop at the church about a 10min walk to Chinatown where restaurant Ethan is. About 4 restaurant in from the street.
Amazing choice for great food the Seafood was delicious the shrimp plump & tender... Go with friends & order a bunch of plates to share... Highly recommend, prices & food good
Very cheap eat. Typical Chinese foods Good price point, comparing to other restaurants nowadays. Bubble tea for $3 Dumpling for $6 Small soup $3 Taste: average Price: very cheap Location: good, easy to find Service: typical Chinese restaurant Atmosphere: just like other Chinese restaurants. Taste: bland but easy to eat The server can communicate but not very well. I'm ok with this place, when I'm in town & looking for easy Chinese food, this is my go-to.
I love this place the food is so amazing (especially the chicken dumplings) , the price are really affordable & the staff loveable , the owner is always happy & smile all the time, the girl at the cash are nice also . I highly recommend that place to go eat 😊 miss you guys the lil lady who always take dumplings
Gets a bad rep. Food is fantastic & the price for it is unmatched, ESPECIALLY the Peking Duck Combo for 4 (tons of good food). Customer service isn't lacking at all; they were courteous with our requests & got the food out quickly.
