It's a very well decorated Mexican restaurant. There are some good dishes , some others , not. It's expensive for the quantity of food served. As a Mexican I expect some good tacos no matter the size , but, it's not the experience for this place. Of I had to go again for some reunion, the best tacos are the shrimp ones & the birria ones.

Très déçue;-( j'adore Escondite au centre ville mais malheureusement je n'ai pas du tout retrouvé la qualité & la saveur des tacos & autres petits plats signés Escondite.

Si vous aimé le Mexicain les tacos sont délicieux mais leurs entré sont vraiment bon.

12$ for 2 mini tacos is INSANITY! I was extremely disappointed. We tried 5 different tacos & only 1 was good. The Baja was very yummy just on the spicy side. The Pollos Hermanos (fried chicken) was extremely dry. The Al Pastor had no sauce & so bland. The Camarones Y Queso (shrimp & cheese) made me extremely sick. Was not fresh, it tasted so bad. One bite & I was sick to my stomach. The Birria was meh. Not authentic whatsoever. Again very dry. Overall the food was bland & the portions were ridiculously small. I was with a big group, so we got to sit upstairs which was fun & private. The service was extremely slow. No one was cleaning up the tables. There were dirty plates everywhere & it was overwhelming. I get that we were a big group but the resto was dead so I don't get why the service was slow. Some people took the 45$ Escondite Experience (plates to share). They didn't even want to tell you what was included. They said "Trust us". Glad I didn't because it was not worth it & many were not impressed. EDIT: Their reply is completely false & it's a standard copy & paste.

J'adore aller à ce restaurant. La première fois, nous sommes allés à l'Escondite du vieux-Montréal & nous avons pris le menu dégustation. Nous avons été impressionnés par la qualité, la quantité & la variété de la nourriture. Nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour les entrées. Il faut dire que rendus aux tacos nous n'avions plus très faim. Nous sommes retournés à l'Escondite de Verdun pour prendre, cette fois-ci que des entrées. Nous en avons essayé de nouvelles & réellement tout était bon. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.

Wonderful experience at Escondite Wellington. We were greeted warmly as we entered & the staff were very friendly & profesional with us. The food was amazing & the tacos were huge! I'm really satisfied with our experience as a group of 9, we were accommodated nicely. Thank you again to the staff & 5/5 would recommend.

Es comida mexicana pero no solo son tacos tradicionales son tacos con nuevos sabores, es decir tienen los clásicos aficionados con toques de nuevos sabores que para mi gusto qur soy mexicano nobestan mal tienen buen sabor y algunos si están deliciosos pero si tienen el toque muy personal del restaurant, vale la pena ir, probarlos y estar abierto a nuevos sabores

Parmi les meilleurs tacos que j'ai mangé! Les crevettes cuites à la perfection 💯😋 Cependant, leur recette de bloody Cesar était un peu trop amère à mon goût. Je recommande je me suis toujours régalé lorsque je suis allé!

Went for lunch a quick bite, but I'm guessing the night menu is better. Nice textures in modern Mexican tacos, & everything was nice. Will be visiting at dinner time to try out again.

Good tacos but you need to order a few because they're very small. We also got churros & they were still a bit raw inside.

Très bon tacos & super ambiance! Les employés sont supers sympathiques & rapides. Le Margarita est bon, mais un peu trop dilué dans les glaçons à mon goût.

Decor was nice & staff were friendly, but the food wasnt to our liking . The mexican general tao & the wings were described different in the menu but tasted exactly the same . Tacos werent good either .

One of my favorite Mexican food places, love the cool decor. Loved the mango salad. The cauliflower tacos are yummy 😋 michelada drink amazing 🤩 great service 🤠😁

During the summer, wellington is walkable so there is a nice & quite terrasse to sit & enjoy the nice weather & be able to talk & share with friends, inside, the decoration is interesting & gives the sensation of cozyness. Food is very tasty with the blends of flavors that they do like the nopal & sirloin steak tacos, they have a variety of drinks/cocktails & the price matches the quality & amount of food. Recommended spot.

Very good food but the person that took my order was someone who proposed me the most expensive drinks & i was served with more tacos than what i told the waiter my bill came back to 120$ with the 15% tips i was pissed because nobody presented me any menu & i didn't knew it was prices for escorts & sugar daddies especially when im a lonely women who lives alone with a rent to pay on my own. I will never come back here.

Expérience culinaire 3/5 c'est des tacos format tapas, pour le prix c'est très moyen, mais le goût était bon. Service 3/5 service rapide gens gentils. Ambiance 3/5 le décor était très bien par contre pour débuter un shift de soir le sol était sale Pour 2 personnes 4 portions de tacos & un ceviche aux alentour de 87$ tips inclus.
