Ordered tacos Al Pastor. It comes with two tacos which is not enough for a meal. So I had to order 2 portions to get 4 tacos. So the portions are small, & it can get pretty expensive. The tacos & one Diet Coke came out to ~38$ (before tip). The tacos were very tasty & enjoyable. Service was a little slow but everyone was very nice. The atmosphere on the terrace on Wellington street was fantastic. All things considered, solid Mexican restaurant.
Honestly, I was a bit skeptical before visiting as you are often disappointed when it comes to eating Mexican with restaurant chains .
Well, I was completely wrong.
The food was stunning , fresh , tasty.
It's a mix of original & fusion food very well adapted.
Hats off .
Will definitely come back.
It's a very well decorated Mexican restaurant. There are some good dishes , some others , not. It's expensive for the quantity of food served. As a Mexican I expect some good tacos no matter the size , but, it's not the experience for this place. Of I had to go again for some reunion, the best tacos are the shrimp ones & the birria ones.
Es comida mexicana pero no solo son tacos tradicionales son tacos con nuevos sabores, es decir tienen los clásicos aficionados con toques de nuevos sabores que para mi gusto qur soy mexicano nobestan mal tienen buen sabor y algunos si están deliciosos pero si tienen el toque muy personal del restaurant, vale la pena ir, probarlos y estar abierto a nuevos sabores
Verdun is the best place to visit in the summer & this beautiful place is one of the upsides on Wellington street. The atmosphere is great, also the service & the food. I love that their menu is not just traditional regular Mexican food, but they add originality & uniqueness to it, like matcha cream? Or some Japanese style on another options. You can see that is a beautiful & unique place.
The taste of the food is good but it's not really Mexican flavour because it's missing the spicy. Ideally for people that cannot eat chili
Went for lunch a quick bite, but I'm guessing the night menu is better. Nice textures in modern Mexican tacos, & everything was nice. Will be visiting at dinner time to try out again.
Decor was nice & staff were friendly, but the food wasnt to our liking . The mexican general tao & the wings were described different in the menu but tasted exactly the same . Tacos werent good either .
One of my favorite Mexican food places, love the cool decor. Loved the mango salad. The cauliflower tacos are yummy 😋 michelada drink amazing 🤩 great service 🤠😁
This restaurant offers authentic Mexican food, though the portions are small & more suited as snacks. While the focus is on drinks, the atmosphere is pleasant. It would benefit from adding some homemade chili sauces. Overall, it's not expensive.
As a Mexican I can say that this food has really the great Mexican touch. Amazing flavor, presentation, friendly staff & owner. Enfrijoladas is a must try 10/10.
The dinner experience was awesome. The owner Mike served us today & we loved it! The food is an amazing fusion of asian & mexican flavours that are great for everyone!!! The ambiance was cozy & the drinks were delicious. Will definitely be back soon!! -Abraham

Unexpected dishes with the Mexican-Asian fusion going on here. The taste is great, but the portion sizes don't match the prices. It feels rather expensive. I'd visit again to try the other dishes I couldn't on my first visit
The baja tacos were a burst of freshness in every bite! From the crisp veggies to the succulent seafood, every ingredient tasted like it was just picked. The customer service was exceptional, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. My fiancé, who wasn't a fan of Mexican cuisine, was won over by the flavors & hospitality. Can't wait to visit again soon!
One word to describe our night... Amazing. Perfect for carnivores, pescatarians, vegetarians & vegans ! We were 6 people (3 couples), the waiter recommended the Escondite experience for 45$ (which we all took) it included guacamole & chips, mango & cucumber salad, chicken wings&ribs (vegan option cauliflower wings), mushroom & cheese tortilla, 3 kinds of tacos (fish, chicken &pork) & for plant based (cauliflower & vegan protein) & finally churros for dessert. Everything tasted so fresh & so flavourful. 🤤😍 The waiter also recommended the spicy margarita.... yuuuuuumm. I took 2 it was so delicious!! I hate cilantro & all I had to do is mention it & problem solved. First time I can actually enjoy so many mexican dishes without it ! Drinks & food was so good & everyone was completely full & satisfied at the end of the night. Service was perfect as well ! Food was so good we barely took the time to take pictures 😅 we stuffed our face instead! Thank you to our waier Jose 😁❤️❤️❤️
