Very disappointed. There was more mayo than fish & more cabbage than chicken in my tacos.

I got a 2/1 taco al pasto- so I was expecting 2 plates for 2 people- one box for tacos. Pretty bummed out it s delicous but I was expecting a certain amount for the price & the advertising. Like normal price would be like 20$ for 2 tacos!!???

The tacos were absolutely delicious! Perfectly seasoned, & fresh! every bite felt like a little trip to Mexico!

The portions were miniscule. Four tiny tacos cost over $30 & the service was sub par.

The birria taco was the highlight of the meal for me. Really delicious.
However, other tacos were dry.
I also loved the corn bread. I just wish they were more generous with the butter :P

Pretty good taco restaurant. Ordered tacos Al Pastor. It comes with two tacos which is not enough for a meal. So I had to order 2 portions to get 4 tacos. So the portions are small, & it can get pretty expensive. The tacos & one Diet Coke came out to ~38$ (before tip). The tacos were very tasty & enjoyable. Service was a little slow but everyone was very nice. The atmosphere on the terrace on Wellington street was fantastic. All things considered, solid Mexican restaurant.

Really enjoyed the classic margaritas, guac, cornbread & shrimp tacos! 🌮 The cauliflower tacos were a little underwhelming, but they still went down fine. Amazing mural & so much colour in their decor. Friendly, funny staff too. 🙌

Mais quelle belle surprise pour le brunch! Les quesadillas au fromage, champignons & truffe sont absolument incroyables. Mon copain a pris les enchiladas qui étaient aussi excellentes. Le tout accompagné d'une petite bière mexicaine & d'un margarita préparé à la perfection, c'était définitivement une belle découverte pour bruncher sur la Wellington! Nous connaissions déjà le Escondite pour ses tacos mais pas pour bruncher, nous reviendrons c'est certain. :)

C'est la première fois que je visitais ce resto avec ma fille. Nous avons adoré notre expérience. Nous étions sur la terrasse & la rue Wellington était piétonnière, donc c'était très calme. Nos drinks étaient très bons, ne goûtaient pas le chimique comme c'est parfois le cas ailleurs. Comme entrée, on a pris les nachos avec du fromage chaud à l'intérieur, c'était juste wow! Nos tacos étaient très bons, peut-être juste ceux au porc qui étaient un peu secs, mais on a ajouté un peu de la sauce qui était fournie dans l'assiette, & ça a été super correct. Nos préférés, ceux aux crevettes. :) On a oublié de nous fournir des ustensiles, & après, de nous donner des assiettes, ce pourquoi j'ai mis 4 étoiles & non 5 étoiles pour le service, mais les serveurs étaient super sympas. Nous comptons revenir parce que nous avons beaucoup aimé le resto & la nourriture.

We recently went to the Wellington (Verdun) location as a group to celebrate a birthday.
After we sat down on this warm summer evening & were given 1 water bottle for the table, our water was never refilled over the course of 2 1/2 hours.!
The place is loud. Very Loud. The music is loud & the people shouting at each other in order to converse over the loud music are even louder.
My appetizer Mango Salad was THE BEST I have ever eaten.
My main course of Tacos, never arrived by an hour & 45 minutes after having ordered it. I left, hungry, disappointed, & vowing to never come back.

Portion size is a bit small. Tacos lacking plate appeal, all stacked onto a small plate. Food lacks seasoning.

Les plats étaient corrects ( mention honorable aux tacos) , mais le service, nonchalant & un peu erratique. Nous mettrons cela sur l'horaire d'un vendredi soir . Mais le gros problème est l'horrible musique reggaton beaucoup trop forte. Mais nous lui laisserons une autre chance pour le brunch.

Good friend brought us out of towners to Escondite for dinner on Friday night. Busy restaurant, so I'd make a reservation. Nice place with great food & they definitely don't skimp out on portions! We did 3 apps & 9 tacos (Baja, Camarones Shrimp & E'Steak Koreano). Absolutely stuffed! Great cocktails as well. Cool vibe with the art wall & decorations throughout!

Dinner for 2, the experience x2, with 2 cocktails & 1 jarritos soda. With taxes & tip $175... looking back & doing the calculation we were charged for the churros when we were told it was included in the experience.
5 of 6 tapas were great... the porc tacos the porc seemed mushy & not a desired texture, similar to the cod tacos the final course before dessert.
Churros were thick & short therefore creating undercooked batter in the middle. Dipping sauce was thick Nutella consistency so almost undippable. Thinner & longer churros would guarantee the inside is cooked properly. A more liquidity dippable sauce would be desirable.
Friendly service & nice atmosphere but at these prices it will be difficult to want to return regardless how tasty & nice the experience is.
