Escondite Drummond is always a great spot & one of my favourite places to go for a fun, authentic Mexican vibe in Montreal.

The atmosphere is lively, warm, & inviting, with a decor & energy that make it feel like more than just a regular restaurant. It's the kind of place that works for many different occasions, whether you're going out with friends, grabbing drinks, having a casual dinner, or starting a night out.

The staff have always been welcoming, friendly, & genuinely nice to talk to, which really adds to the overall experience. Every time I've been, the service has been warm & relaxed, & it makes the place feel even more enjoyable.

I strongly recommend sitting at the bar if you can. It's a great way to enjoy the atmosphere, chat with the staff, & try some of their cocktails. Their margaritas & mezcalitas are really good - fresh, balanced, & exactly what you want from a Mexican-inspired spot.

The food has also always been fresh & tasty. Everything I've tried has had great flavour, & the overall experience feels consistent every time.

Overall, Escondite Drummond is a great choice if you're looking for good Mexican food, excellent cocktails, a fun vibe, & friendly service. Highly recommend for pretty much any occasion.

If you know limited French or little to none, this place is still very welcoming & easy to order at. Staff are friendly, the food is great, & the vibes are awesome. Every time my partner & I go to Montreal we always make a point to eat here. My fav is the Gyoza Nachos. If you can make a stop here, I highly suggest you do.

We went to Escondite Drummond with coworkers & had a really fun night. Great Latin music & a lively vibe, plus the staff was super friendly & welcoming. The food is Mexican-inspired & overall decent, but not the most authentic Mexican in Montreal. Prices felt a bit on the higher side, but it's a solid spot for drinks, atmosphere, & a group outing.

We recently held an event at Escondite & the restaurant was a pleasure to work with. They made everything easy for us & the event space was beautifully decorated & had a great vibe. The food was delicious & the service was wonderful. Would highly recommend if you're looking at hosting 40-50 people.

Escondite did not disappoint! The vibe was cool - we sat on the back patio. The mojito was good, margarita was excellent. The food was amazing - we ordered the nachos, & the following tacos: korean steak, mole, fried chicken, & the new El Paso. All were delicious but the standouts were the mole & the El Paso.

My husband & I came here on the weekend. The waitresses were very friendly. We enjoyed the mojitos - the pineapple was a nice touch! We really liked the chips & guac, camarones y queso, & coliflor tacos. The upper floor had a nice vibe from the artwork on the walls to the upbeat latin american music. Highly recommend, & will definitely go again!

Do the dinner "experience" & get drinks. Food was to die for & service was equally incredible-& I'm picky! Steak taco, cornbread, mango salad, chicken wings, nacho gyoza all top tier. Very cute vibe too.
