Never disappointing. Brought a few coworkers here for lunch. We all agreed, the food is delicious,& the service was great. Always a sure beer! Their chicken wings are a 10!
Escondite did not disappoint! The vibe was cool - we sat on the back patio. The mojito was good, margarita was excellent. The food was amazing - we ordered the nachos, & the following tacos: korean steak, mole, fried chicken, & the new El Paso. All were delicious but the standouts were the mole & the El Paso.
It was my first experience of a Mexican restaurant, & I'm happy to find this place! We ordered two tacos (one with the steak & the other with the fried chicken) & it was so delicious that we re-ordered the same thing! Although I believe that the guacamole was a little bit pricy. Staff were really professional. Edit: I came again & still everything was perfect, specially the waiters (I guess one was Antares?) were professional & super friendly!
Best nachos I have ever tasted! They're not your typical nachos. It was so good we ordered another plate. It is a must when you visit. We also got the chicken & steak tacos, both had nice flavors but the star was the nachos.
Do the dinner "experience" & get drinks. Food was to die for & service was equally incredible-& I'm picky! Steak taco, cornbread, mango salad, chicken wings, nacho gyoza all top tier. Very cute vibe too.
This was our second time eating at an Escondite, but our first time at this location. Had a delicious meal & loved every bit of it! We tried the gyoza nachos & we only wish there was more of it in the serving. For tacos we tried the Korean steak, fried chicken, al pastor, & baja fish. All were great but my fave was the Baja fish & my partners favourite was the Korean steak. Definitely recommend making a reservation as this place filled up quick on a Saturday night.
the food is always fresh, well spiced, cooked & presented. I have tried 90% of the menu from tacos to the chicken wings (the best wings ever), the salads & the desserts & everything is fabulous. The service at the bar is great & they tend to the client's needs well. The barmen are all very friendly & cool. However, one female server was incredibly rude to us one time. We come there to eat all the time & she treated us like non-clients once. My aunt had already payed the bill inside of the restaurant & this particular server taught that we did not pay & as we tried to leave, she blocked our way & put her arms in front of us like we were robbers or something. My aunt & my mom did not have & directly handled it with the manager who was understanding & shocked of her employee's behavior.
