It all began in 2004, when two generations of the Charbonneau family rolled up their sleeves to build a magnificent log cabin for producing maple syrup. Now, there's a full line-up of activities: dining in the sugar shack, horse-drawn carriage rides, visiting the petting farm, Arbraska (aerial canopy tours and other forest activities), walking the hiking trails of Mont Saint-Grégoire, music and dancing every Saturday night—plus fine maple products and friendly service.
Enjoy the delights of exceptionally high-quality maple syrup in a welcoming rustic environment.
Érablière Charbonneau offers an authentic sugar shack experience in a handsome wooden setting with a range of hearty traditional Quebecois dishes and maple treats, where the portions are generous and the atmosphere is warm and family friendly. The staff are repeatedly described as friendly, efficient and attentive, with quick service even at busy times and a welcoming, clean environment. The area provides outdoor activities for children, a playground and chances to explore the verger, cidrerie and animals, making it a full day out in the woods. Reviewers praise the quality and variety of the food from classic staples to unique touches like meat pies and local products, though a few dishes were noted as greasy or not to some tastes, and some guests feel the pricing is high relative to the experience. The experience is described as charming and memorable with a traditional vibe, occasional playful touches and a strong emphasis on hospitality, making it a place many would return to or recommend for families and friends.
Definitely worth it for the whole day. We will return. The brunch was a bit slow to start & bacon a bit overdone but otherwise perfect day! Great maple syrup. Great people. Loved the eccentric Llama & Goat man with his big character. The goats were super friendly & appreciated the scratches..the Llamas could care less of people except when you got snacks but Llamas be llamas. The wagon rides were fun. Got to see their other side & I remember it as a kid visiting back in circa 1996/1997 when they had two horses they used for ponying around kids. I remember riding a fleabitten Grey horse & there was a puppet show in the fall as it was around halloween & we were apple picking. . Otherwise Than the deep unlocked memory I had going on there a bit nostalgic happy to see the place has grown a lot & developed. Can't wait to return!
Mon copain & moi allons certainement retourner!

Excellent sugar shack, probably the best I've ever been too.
For anyone looking for an authentic experience: this is the place to go!
Every thing was so delicious & freshly made. Definitely appreciated their personal touch with the meat pies & meatballs which are both traditional Quebecois dishes, but we usually have them during the holidays. Them including these dishes with their sugar shack meal is a nice add on for people who are trying typical Quebecois foods for the first time. Very cool!
As much fun as it is to go to Cabane à Sucre it has become completely overpriced. For the food you get & what is it not worth it. We were seated downstairs & it's almost as if we were forgotten. We were a group of 20 & were only asked once if we needed refills on any food.
Merci encore!
