It all began in 2004, when two generations of the Charbonneau family rolled up their sleeves to build a magnificent log cabin for producing maple syrup. Now, there's a full line-up of activities: dining in the sugar shack, horse-drawn carriage rides, visiting the petting farm, Arbraska (aerial canopy tours and other forest activities), walking the hiking trails of Mont Saint-Grégoire, music and dancing every Saturday night—plus fine maple products and friendly service.
Enjoy the delights of exceptionally high-quality maple syrup in a welcoming rustic environment.
Érablière Charbonneau is widely described as a popular, family friendly sugar shack with generous portions, high quality and varied menu items, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The site offers extras like hot apple cider outside, a well stocked shop, a kid friendly outdoor area with games and a small animal area and a tractor ride, all contributing to an authentic and charming maple experience. While the food, service and ambiance are frequently praised, visits can be busy and prices can be high, with some comments about uneven service on busy days and fewer activities on weekdays, but the overall impression is of a dependable, traditional experience that keeps guests coming back.
Food is overpriced for what are essentially breakfast items (eggs, bacon, potatoes, beans, etc.). Yes, it's technically unlimited, but it's a set service & you will mostly be brought high-caloric, low-value items. Proteins constitute around 20% of the service & their portions are minuscule (one meat ball per person lol). Their strategy is to stuff you with potatoes, eggs, bread, & milk so you don't have room to order more proteins. Real all-you-can-eat restaurants are not only cheaper but you can actually choose which items to order. Staff was friendly, from the waitress to the chap handing out the maple taffy.
Service rapide efficace & sympathique .

The BEST sugar shack experience I've ever had! Incredible food, ultra clean place, amazing service. I was definitely impressed & will definitely be back!
5* for the place & experience.. but the food is too expensive for its quality (portion & quality).. spent 50$ per person but 30$ would be more than fair.
