Il y a déjà plusieurs années que le sympathique Elio et son épouse Nina originaire de la province d'Avellino près de Naples ont ouvert les portes du Restaurant Elio Pizzeria. Nous devons dire que ce restaurant n'est pas simplement une pizzeria, Elio et sa famille offrent de simples plats typiquement maison à la Napolitaine pour leur clientèle nord-américaine. Pendant toutes ces années, le Restaurant Elio a servi de nombreux et fidèles clients. Quand le restaurant à ouvert ses portes la première fois en 1964, il y avait une capacité de servir seulement 18 personnes. Aujourd'hui, Elio et famille sont fiers de pouvoir accommoder plus de 700 personnes incluant leurs deux salles de réceptions (Buffet Anna Maria). Avec un sourire, Elio et famille vous souhaitent une belle expérience de cuisine maison, une expérience que vous n'oublierez jamais.
Elio Pizzeria est connue pour une cuisine italienne authentique avec des pizzas et des pâtes que de nombreux critiques jugent les meilleures de Montréal, avec des sauces fraîches, une croûte bien cuite et des portions généreuses à bon prix. L'ambiance chaleureuse et familiale et le service attentif font que les clients se sentent chez eux, et l'accueil est souvent salué. Today marked a special culinary adventure for my wife & me as we ventured into Little Italy in Montreal, guided by a recommendation from Google Maps to try Elio Pizzeria Ristorante. From the moment we crossed the threshold, the warmth of the welcome we received was unparalleled. Frank, the owner, greeted us as if we were long-lost friends rather than first-time patrons. Despite never having met him, his genuine approach & conversation made us feel immediately at home. Frank took the initiative to select our dishes, a gesture that speaks volumes of his confidence in his menu & his understanding of his guests. The meal that followed was nothing short of remarkable. Each plate brought to our table was a testament to the authentic Italian flavors Elio Pizzeria Ristorante prides itself on. My wife & I were thoroughly impressed, our taste buds delighted by the culinary journey Frank had curated for us. When the time came for dessert - a Cannoli that perfectly encapsulated the essence of Italian sweet treats. It was the perfect end to an already exquisite dining experience. It's rare to find a place that combines exceptional food with such a personal touch. I wholeheartedly recommend Elio Pizzeria Ristorante to anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal in Little Italy. Frank & his team have not just served us great food; they've created a memorable experience that my wife & I will cherish.
We used to come here every few months because we love it so much. We just came back this week & the service was horrible. They never filled the water & once I asked, the waiter spilled water all over me & didn't even bring me napkins or apologize. The pizza was soggy. Too much onions & the bacon was burned. The quantity of pasta was HALF what it used to be. I'm not even exaggerating. I have picture proof. When we asked for a box to take part of the pizza home, they brought us a dirty box. When we asked for a new one they seemed annoyed. They turned the TV on super loud as if it was a sports bar but with a super cheap TV so the sound was very annoying. They did turn if off once we asked at least. & finally when we asked for the bill it took 30 minutes to bring it to us. Elio's was a 5 star restaurant for me ever since my first visit in 2021 but now I will probably never be returning. Maybe it will get another chance... someday...

Very friendly staff & the food was really good. Portion size was good & tasty. The waiter recommended the veal on bone & it was very tender & fall off the bone delicious. Beware the pizzas, the default Crust was pretty thick on the 10". The dulce de leche dessert was to die for.
I placed an order for takeout. Got their large pepperoni pizza, & they were very generous with the meat. The pizza was really good. However, I recommend getting it with extra sauce. & extra cheese if you like it that way also. Reason I say this is because their dough is quite dense. The extra sauce & cheese would definitely compensate for the thickness of the crust & undercarriage. I will do that next time I order from here again.
Had an amazing dinner at Elio's. My husband & I shared the Angelo Pizza to start & followed with the best Rigatoni Amatriciana & Fettuccine a la Gigi we've ever had. The portions are old school, where you leave full & even take some home for lunch the next day & the service was outstanding!

Food was food, but at the end they forced us to pay 15% tip, which came out to be $10, at the end he said the machine had a tip barrier & we have to pay that tip. It's not that we didn't want to tip them but we were going for $5 & they argued if the service wasn't good.
Une amie m'a fait découvrir cette endroit... Wow 👌! Le menu est très varié, les assiettes sont de généreuses portions. On a commandé des cannellonis aux fromages ❤️& une pizza fine 🍕, Bocconcini & prosciutto💕! La présentation est soignée, c'est de la fine cuisine italienne, l'endroit à fêté ses 60 ans d'ouverture le 7 mars 1964 avec 4 générations ont su garder ce restaurant ouvert & de bon goût! C'est préférable de réserver, surtout si c'est pour une fête ou groupe. Il y a une clientèle de longue date qui sont reconnues par les serveurs & propriétaires. L'été il y a une terrasse. 😍
The food never disappoints at Elio's. Amazing food 😋. I think they were short staffed today & over whelmed. The wait was long, but nonetheless worth the wait.
