Il y a déjà plusieurs années que le sympathique Elio et son épouse Nina originaire de la province d'Avellino près de Naples ont ouvert les portes du Restaurant Elio Pizzeria. Nous devons dire que ce restaurant n'est pas simplement une pizzeria, Elio et sa famille offrent de simples plats typiquement maison à la Napolitaine pour leur clientèle nord-américaine. Pendant toutes ces années, le Restaurant Elio a servi de nombreux et fidèles clients. Quand le restaurant à ouvert ses portes la première fois en 1964, il y avait une capacité de servir seulement 18 personnes. Aujourd'hui, Elio et famille sont fiers de pouvoir accommoder plus de 700 personnes incluant leurs deux salles de réceptions (Buffet Anna Maria). Avec un sourire, Elio et famille vous souhaitent une belle expérience de cuisine maison, une expérience que vous n'oublierez jamais.
Elio Pizzeria est connue pour une cuisine italienne authentique avec des pizzas et des pâtes que de nombreux critiques jugent les meilleures de Montréal, avec des sauces fraîches, une croûte bien cuite et des portions généreuses à bon prix. L'ambiance chaleureuse et familiale et le service attentif font que les clients se sentent chez eux, et l'accueil est souvent salué. L'expérience va au delà du repas sur place, avec des options pour emporter des pâtes et sauces fraîches, une terrasse et des espaces pour les rassemblements, ce qui témoigne de son statut d'institution locale. I would love to be more positive on this review but the reputation is way beyond the actual execution.
The staff is very attentive & friendly, 10/10 for that. We never ran out of water.
Unfortunately you will need allot of water because the wait times are insane, 4+ hours for 4 courses..
Maybe if I was waiting for was great food it would be worth it,but not in this case.
The starters were fairly good, some calamari (not fresh but crispy & tasty). Some cold cuts with tomatoes, cheese & complementary industrial grade bread but at least it was warm.
Pasta was well cooked but the sauces tasted like nothing at all. Probably the blandest rosee sauce I ever had & cannelloni were tasteless also.
My main was veal parm, the veal parm is on par with any chain restaurant, the salad included was very poor. Lettuce with maybe a drop of oil, a few vegetables & coated with salt?!
For this being a restaurant in little Italy it was a let down.
However, I did not try the pizza but others at my table told me it was good!

La meilleure pizza à Montréal bien cuite & surtout très bien garni avec les meilleurs ingrédients, tout est frais & les prix sont très raisonnable je recommande cette pizzeria à tous, bon appétit.
This restaurant means so much to me! My dad used to take me here at least once a week as a kid & I loved it. He's passed now, but I still come here alone in memory of him. 20 years later, the service & food is just as comforting & warm as I remember. I love their pastas & the desserts. Thank you, Elio!
Ca fait plus de 40 ans que ma famille ayons à ce restaurant ! Leur sauce bolognese… WOW ! J'achète toujours 4 pots de 1L après notre souper pour manger du Elio à la maison ! (Car ce n'est pas très près de chez moi!) toujours des beaux souvenirs de famille
Dimanche , on se présente pour acheter sa fameuse sauce rose au litres
Ce que nous savions pas que nous la commander. Alors on jase avec le chef
Il.a pris 15 minutes , il nous en a préparé 4 portions Bravo pour ce geste très apprécié
I ordered a small cheese pizza well done from uber eats. The top dough & cheese wasn't cooked through, dough was soft & the cheese wasn't completely melted.The cheese was only on one side of the pizza. There was too much sauce & the bottom of the pizza was burnt. The dough was thick throughout the entire pizza & chewy. I received a complimentary small peice of carrot cake with my order that was verry good & fresh & it was nice of them to include, that's why I gave 2 stars, but all I really wanted was a good cheese pizza.

THE best pizza in town! The rest of the menu is also delicious, with generous portions. A warm, friendly, family atmosphere that also has private rooms for parties. &, an upstairs reception hall for large gatherings.
I had the BEST experience with the staff here. I came in looking like a complete mess, having been locked out in the cold without proper shoes, a coat, my wallet, phone, etc. They welcomed me in, told me to stay as long as I needed, lent me a phone, & gave me a coffee. It was truly one of the best coffees I've ever had. I went back later to try to pay for it, & they refused to take my money. I can't speak to the quality of the food because I havent eaten here yet (though I can't wait to!), but i can say the staff are wonderfully kind people. Thank you so much guys
This is such a classic Montreal Italian joint, been around forever! Prices are great & there are musicians walking around playing violin; really a blast from the past! Vibes were more Italian than Nona's house. I don't think the pasta is homemade & I'm pretty sure the pizza doesnt use that classic Italian dough, but I'm not 100% sure so don't take my word for it & go try it out. Service was decent, food came quick, it didn't blow me away but the price makes up for it. $40 gets you dinner, dessert, coffee so no complaints. Hits that Italian craving just right!

This is without a doubt the best most satisfying pizza in montreal! I highly recommend them. Between the food & the fresh pasta, sauce & tomato pizza that you can just grab in their fridge. Today I picked up 4XL pizzas..for 14ppl at the office. 14 out 14 loved the pizzas so much. Thank you Frank & the staff at Elios. Always a hit!
WAY MORE THAN PIZZA! The food & the service here are excellent. My husband had the pizza with anchovies & enjoyed it. I had the cannelloni. It was delicious. The veal dish & the fettuccine mama were also tasty. For appetizers, we enjoyed the eggplant & tomatoes with burrata. The eggplant was my favorite. We also enjoyed prosecco & some red wine. It was a lovely lunch. For dessert, we had homemade mini cannolis. Delicious! The menu is extensive. The restaurant itself is very clean. Very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Outside seating when weather is nice. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for quality Italian food.
Nice neighbourhood trattoria that's been around for a very long time. It's not fancy but it's excactly the kind of place that you need as a local neighbourhood trattoria. Good pizzas & pasta along with other options. Fast service, reasonable prices & friendly staff. What more can you ask for?
We love going to Elio's! We just had a 65th family bday reunion & the service & food was delicious. The waiters all have a great attitude. An istituito!!!!!!♥?🇮🇹
