My friends & I enjoyed this place mostly due to the atmosphere & good service. The food really wasn't very special. For a restaurant that only serves pizza & pasta, why is there only 3 pasta choices? We had the pizza Dany. It was very original but overall wasn't the biggest fan & wouldn't order again. It didn't taste like a pizza & it was a bit overly sweet. The basque cheesecake was probably the best thing we had. Overall very underwhelmed & will not return/recommend but it does have a nice vibe
The salad was very salty & just lettuce & about 3 croutons. The pizza was very garlicky & came cold. We were seated about 6 inches from the table next to us which meant we almost had to chat with them, even though it was a date night. There's no sign out front. Our uber driver couldn't find it. Definitely expected better given the hype.
Recently dined at Elena. The evening started well with a warm greeting & a friendly, knowledgeable server.
We ordered a bottle of white wine & several dishes to share. The food was delicious & well done, & it's worth noting that this review is based on the experience rather than the food itself.
That said, a few things took away from the night. The wine was served without a cooler, & the restaurant became noticeably colder as the evening went on, to the point where it was freezing by the end. As the night progressed, the friendliness from our server faded & they were often not nearby when we wanted to order more.
Overall, great food, but the service & comfort level didn't match it.
Outstanding restaurant with great atmosphere & design! The food was simply amazing, I'd absolutely recommend everything we had.
The service truly stood out! Marcus welcomed our table of 7 with warmth & expertise, guiding us through the menu & anticipating our every need. What a great dining experience!!!
We were highly recommended to try Elena for their pizza, & it absolutely lived up to the hype.
We started with the meatballs & marinated red peppers as appetizers-both were incredible. The meatballs were rich & flavorful, & the peppers were perfectly balanced & delicious.
The pizza was outstanding. Every bite was spot on, from the crust to the toppings.
Everything we had was absolutely perfect. This is definitely a place I'd come back to without hesitation.
Thursday evening - table of 4. We arrived for 6pm reservations & I assume this early for the regular clientele as only tow other tables were seated. Was seated a corner table which is large circular table making it a little awkward when your 4 unless you add a chair.
Started with come cocktails which were good. Appetizers: polpete, beet salad, supli & another dish I can't recall were all very tasty. Everyone enjoyed. We then shared two pizzas (Diavolo & Margherita) which were also excellent. A dish of sugo (ragu) was also ok, not great but not bad. I thought it lacked seasoning & was rather bland.
Service was excellent from all of staff were interacted with, friendly & professional. Wine suggestions (by the glass) were spot on. Noise level is high, but we were also seated under a speaker so music was a little loud.
Plenty of parking available out front (free) & the area is quiet & residential. I prefer coming here in the summer when you can sit outside on the terrace which is more quiet.
I had also indicated this was a birthday dinner in the Opentable reservation but this was overlooked or ignored.
Le choix du menu donne l'eau à la bouche & effectivement, leurs plats sont excellents. Nous avions pris plusieurs plats à partager (entrées & plats principaux): tout était délicieux. L'atmosphère est agréable aussi.
