Food was pretty good, portions were a bit small & prices are okay. Waiter took 20 minutes to serve us, but apologized & was very attentionate. Others were served quickly. Birria tacos were very good
Very delicious mexican food. Watch out, some tables are quite small & narrow.
C'était une première expérience pour nous ce soir & nous nous sommes régalés de tacos au porc & au poulet. La guacamole était exquise, mon conjoint qui n'aime pas cela habituellement à gratté le fond du bol ;)
Nous reviendrons assurément !

C'est la place pour manger de la cuisine mexicaine authentique sans dépenser trop j'adore cet endroit depuis longtemps, les prix ont augmenté en flèche comme partout dans les restaurants. C'est mon restaurant préfère pour les midi accompagné de leur chips. Bref je recommande a tout le monde qui passe au marché Jean-Talon.
First things first, when you enter.
The waiters, very friendly & welcoming which is exactly the type of energy you need to be greeted with every single time you walk into a restaurant.
Next is the wait time of ordering your food. Personally with my experience there it would be no more than 10 minutes even if you go with someone. Very quick service.
The drinks are amazing, I always go for a Jarrito (lime,mandarin, mango) to better my eating experience.
The price for the Birria tacos that I got were abit on the pricey side but what did you expect from a restaurant in this economy, i definitely got my moneys worth. With Birria tacos & a drink including a tip it would be around 25-30$ which can be pricey for some but this isn't something you eat everyday even if I could. It's definitely one of those restaurants you revisit every now & then & a great back up restaurant to go to.
Location: the location is a solid 3.5/5 for me as it's great to be a 5 min walk from metro Jean talon but they definitely need to expand their business to Laval one day.
Sometimes you get to have interactions with the chef if they aren't too busy. Very friendly aswell. Love this place for the rest of my days & will definitely be coming back as much as I can.
Commande uber eats, j'ai demandé deux burritos sans laitue, c'était respecté. Les deux burritos sont EXCELLENTS. En plus de la quantité, parlons de la qualité de la viande qui est super tendre, juteuse & savoureuse. Je conseille ceux à l'agneau & au boeuf 😁
I got the Mole & it wasn't bad! The tortilla was a bit hard but the sauce & the beans were very flavourful & the meal itself was very generous. I'd come back & try something else on the menu.
This Mexican restaurant is a great spot, especially after spending time at Marché Jean-Talon! I've been here multiple times, & it's always a reliable option for a satisfying meal. I usually order the *Burrito Tradicional* with steak, & it's packed with flavor & generous portions. The steak is well-cooked & tasty, though I do find it a bit too salty for my preference on my each visit. That said, the overall quality & experience keep me coming back.
The location is super convenient, right across from Marché Jean-Talon, making it a perfect place to refuel after exploring the market. The atmosphere is lively, & the service is friendly. If you're in the area & craving Mexican food, this is definitely a solid choice!
I was aware of the great reputation this Mexican restaurant had & finally tried it for brunch on a Sunday morning. The vibe was very inviting & the food was just awesome. Everything is home made, right down to the taco chips & tortillas. I tried the veal omelette with refried black beans, rice & guacamole. Everything was so tasty & fresh. The sweet & spiced coffee was also a nice surprise. I will definitely go back to try their tacos.
