My cousins & I came here & had the best time!! It's the smallest bar in Canada with great rum drinks. Jackson the bartender has such a great vibe & made the whole experience!

Wandering around the streets of Montreal we stumbled upon this little gem. Jackson invited in & told us all about the place. We aren't (or weren't) rum drinkers. Jackson asked us what we usually drink & he fixed two amazing cocktails.
He was a great host we wound up coming back the next three nights in a row. Meeting new visitors each night. A fun & cozy must stop for anyone that enjoys a good cocktail & fun conversations.
Best experience at any old port bar ❤? had a blast & a sweet & sour drink that just 🥰… Jackson was super attentive & gave me the whole experience (including a bit of the bar's history). Definitely coming back soon !

Jackson was beyond the standard of fabulous. This warm & inviting tiny bar serves fabulous rum-based drinks to kick the night off with a bang. Jackson's mannerisms, story telling, & whimsical skill set with the shaker will leave you wanting to come back every weekend. El Pequeno has immersed all guests in creating lasting & personable memories with other bar patrons to last a lifetime. Thank you, Jackson, for creating the most hospital & enchanting environment!
Tristan was an amazing bartender! He is a great conversationalist & gave us great recommendations for drinks & a talented mixologist. I would recommend this place! He helped create a really cozy & fun environment.
El Pequeno is a wonderful spot! Jackson is an amazing host & bartender, always making you feel welcome with his friendly vibe. He offers great drink recommendations & is super knowledgeable. With great music & one of the best rum selections in Montreal, it's definitely a place worth visiting!

The Cubano slaps & is a cost effective solution to wanting to drink more but not having eaten. Also good rum selection for the city, the bartender (Tristan) was very friendly, & he made a hell of an off-list jungle bird.
If I could give more stars to this place, I would. I always have a blast when I come here, drinks are amazing, as well as the bartenders!! Honorific mention to William.
We went in to warm up on a cold February night & for being such a small bar (the smallest in all Canada!), the atmosphere was impeccable. The lighting, the music & the drinks were 😍😍😍. We had the old cubano for drinks. WOW! Well done el pequeno!!
Drinks at the bar are really good! Super overpriced though! Staff is ok, considering the prices at this bar, I was expecting a lot more! If you are going with a group of 7 or biggest, they don’t split the bill! Be aware of it!
