Oh my god. What a fantastic experience at El pequeno!!! Will took incredible care of us & explained multiple rums to us. Cocktails were excellent, what a talented bartender. I can not wait to be backView more
A very tiny bar, with one sitting table in the middle. I would say max 8 people can go in, & I assume in the summer more with the terrace. The service was amiable. We had two cocktails one margarita & one specialty cocktail of the season. Both were beautifully presented & both were delicious,View more
We went in to warm up on a cold February night & for being such a small bar (the smallest in all Canada!), the atmosphere was impeccable. The lighting, the music & the drinks were 😍😍😍. We had the old cubano for drinks. WOW! Well done el pequeno!!View more

This review is far too late, but we were here last September. Gaspard is seriously the best bartender I've ever met. If Gaspard is still at El Pequeño, he deserves a big raise!View more
Drinks at the bar are really good! Super overpriced though! Staff is ok, considering the prices at this bar, I was expecting a lot more! If you are going with a group of 7 or biggest, they don’t split the bill! Be aware of it!View more
A tiny bar located right next to The Coldroom & across from Bar Bisou Bisou, El Pequeño bar stands out from its sister bars. Like it's name, its very small, seats less than 10 people & little standing room. But rather than detracting, it adds to the intimacy of the bar & a close knit vibe. The cocktails are all Cuban twists on rum based classics like the daiquiri & Pina Colada. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks!View more
Cute little bar. Good atmosphere. Service was good. Got a banana sazerac at $20 is was ok. Has an outdoor patio out front.View more
Great small rum bar, somewhat connected to the Cold Room. Cozy, intimate atmosphere. Best rum selection we've seen in Montreal. Great rum cocktails, & the bartender can also improvise off-menu. We had amazing chats with him about different rums & he's super knowledgeable.View more
The mixologist’s creative & delicious cocktails steal the spotlight. The intimate, cozy setting adds to the charm, creating good vibes all around.
We all really enjoyed it!View more
Upon visiting this fine establishment I had high expectations, for outside I could see the laughter, feel the cheer, & sense a general what the kids would say “good vibe,” yet upon ordering the banana chips, I found myself highly dissatisfied: no salt, no ketchup, & so on, which, I must say, is an odd choice for this dish—I expected a magnanimous portion, fit for a feast of the grandest proportions: & nothing but disappointment followed me through this gustatory adventure. I must tell you that the banana chips are to be avoided at all cost. It’s a national travesty that these chips are as they are, for I’m sure that, we, as Canadians, could do much better, but such is the general tenor & malaise of modern life which brings us to eat these very, very mid chips.View more
