Mr. Victor Lopez and his wife Elena Garcia welcomes you at El Meson! This authentic Mexican restaurant located just across the Lachine Canal, in an old brick house in Old Lachine welcomes you in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It is already several years that this Mexican gem serves its secret family recipes. They started timidly years ago in Dorval for those who remember, and it is through satisfied customers that this Mexican restaurant has made a name for itself and today El Meson ranks among the best Latin restaurants in Montreal.

Muchas gracias to our phenomenal server Alexandra & to the wonderful team at this amaaaaaazing authentic Mexican restaurant. It's been a personal favorite of mine for years. Located on St. Joseph in the heart of the beautiful Lachine Canal, everything here is so delicious & so beautifully presented. The ambiance is classic Mexican ❤?, providing such warmth & comfort. If you haven't been here before, you don't know what you've been missing! 🇲🇽

A lovely birthday lunch at El Mesón.
My friend & I both ordered the tortilla lunch special. She enjoyed her fish tortilla & I enjoyed my vegetable & bean tortilla. The lunch special included a tortilla soup, a bit of salad & rice on the plate, & tea or coffee, which was good value for $17.50. We ordered a tres leches cake for dessert even though we were both kind of full but we were celebrating, after all. 😊 The wait staff was kind enough to put a candle in the cake which was so cute! Even though I knew it was coming, it still made me grin like a child.

Stavroula, the wait staff, who seemed to enjoy their jobs & it seemed their mission was to make our dining experience as enjoyable as possible.😊They succeeded!

Ce restaurant est chaleureux, j'y retourne régulièrement depuis plus de 15 ans & je n'ai jamais été déçue par la qualité des plats. Le service est impeccable également.

El Meson is one of those super cozy family owned restaurants you must visit. This little place is worth the drive from far away. The staff are really interested in making you enjoy your meal with amazing hospitality & quality food dishes that will satisfy those looking for very good Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere is exceptionally cozy & you might find yourself not in a rush to leave👍👍👍👍👍

J'y suis retourné après plusieurs années. Cuisine toujours aussi délicieuse sinon encore meilleure. Serveurs & serveuses efficaces & avenants. Bravo à Victor, le chef, qui nous cuisine des plats variés & delicieux. On y retourne!

What a surprise! Looking for a patio for a drink & ended up with an excellent pitcher of margarita & a variety of food, all of which were excellent. The plate of nachos was smallish but smoothered in cheese & home nade tomato salsa. Cheap drinks!,
