Last night my partner & I had El Delicioso for the second time. We had held off on ordering from them again because it is really expensive for tacos here, but we thought we would treat ourselves since it was great the first time we got them. They also gave us an abundance of amazing sauces. Made the $60 meal for two a little bit more worth it. After last night, we will NOT be ordering from El Delicioso again. When I brought our taco order home, my partner & I were really disappointed with the amount of food they gave us. My partner had the El Pastor tacos & there was barely any meat in each taco. Also, last time they doubled up on the tortillas for him. This time they did not. I got the Camarón (shrimp) tacos & the batter was super soggy & the shrimp were tiny. However, I can forgive the size of the shrimp partially since I'm not aware of the details for their shrimp delivery. First time I had the Camarón tacos they were big, juicy & had an excellent crisp to the batter. I was hoping for $21 I would get that again. Not the case. I also requested no mayo, which they did not follow. Barely any lettuce & purple cabbage too in the tacos. For the sauces, we each got two tiny sauce containers of salsa. Last time we got 4 sauces each, three of them being big containers of salsa which was amazing! Not sure why they changed this. For their prices, I expect more & I was really disappointed. I've been trying to find a good taco place in Montreal since I grew up with incredible Mexican food. Makes me feel at home, but sadly I haven't found a spot that is affordable/worth the price for the amount of food they give. Overall, I will say their staff is friendly & warm to their customers. Nothing against the people who work at El Delicioso. I assure you they will treat you very well.
Menjar boníssim i personal molt amable. T'expliquen molt bé els plats i són molt acollidors. Tenen llaminadures de Mèxic i un bon assortiment de "aigües" . Molt recomanable si vols gaudir d'una experiència mexicana a Montreal.
Excellent chicken enchiladas rojas! This is a nicely authentic Mexican place in Montreal. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the food is delicious!

Best authentic Mexican restaurant I've tried in Montreal, the quality is fresh & they don't miss with the flavours. This is coming from a Mexican that's been very disappointed with almost all Mexican restaurants outside of Mexico. You can tell there's pride in the product they deliver & won't cut corners. I've tried their regular menu 3 times & once for brunch/ breakfast. They never miss!
Muy rico todo! Sabor y presentación casera mexicana, definitivamente regresaremos. Pedimos una torta de bistec, las enchiladas verdes de pollo y el agua de horchata, riquísima.
Walked into this restaurant with no expectations, was greeted by a lovely Mexican lady who didn't speak much english & I instantly knew the food was gonna be bomb the smells coming out of the kitchen was also a great indication, I ordered pizzadiha & the chilaquiles with chicken & was absolutely blown away from the flavour & taste of the food I will 100 percent be back again & I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone :)
A phenomenal little Mexican restaurant that my wife discovered the other night. The food was delicious, authentic & fresh, the service was good although a tad slow because there was only one waitress, & they didn't have any alcohol for the time being (which didn't bother us).
Stopped by the place alone & loved it! The food seemed authentic, generous portions for the enchiladas, decent service & overall a good Mexican gem tucked away.

One of the best mexican restaurants I've been to in Montreal, & it's a pretty long list so that's saying something. Flavour of the food is bomb. This is a smaller restaurant that has more of a cafe feel than a restaurant, but it's comfortable nontheless. One of my favourite things about this place was they had a cell player there to play for the patrons. Added a real great touch & represented well the importance of music in Mexican culture.
