Super delicious! Great for families. We all loved it! Munwife & I got the eggspectation each, & my daughter got the ribeye (I had to help her finish it, lol). The staff was awesome - they told us about things to do in the city. I would totally go back there again!
I have always loved going to Eggspectation for brunch. This was my first time at this perticular location. As always the food was great. We were seated by the patio door & felt a breeze of cold air evey time the door was opened. We asked if we could move to a booth & were told those are for parties of four only. That must be a restaurant policy because while there were two vacant booths, we could see couples waiting to be seated. I just find it strange that a restaurant would prioritize customs who might show up over customers who are already there. Sitting by the patio door was definitely not pleasant please avoid that spot. Our food got cold very fast, even my hot chocolate felt nice & cool.
A party of 3 with 2 people addicted to egg benedict, so it made sense to come the the closest location to have our breakfast: lobster Benedict, crab cake Benedict with me liking plain eggs.
The surprise was the watermellon slices, which was a great touch after having eggs. & thanks to our waiter, an Oriental guy (secretly I wished him to be our waiters as the others seem not to be bothered much) who paid attention to everything: how I like my bread etc. You might think: why be fussy? Well, otherwise I cannot eat or small things done not the way I like them simply make me physically sick.
This place is beautifully decorated, even the bathrooms are amazing & is located in a great area: as we returned around lunch time we noticed how busy & 'crazy' this are became all of a sudden. At night it might be madness.
The food was great, we had burgers for lunch & they were really tasty & properly spiced, with a sunny side up egg inside the burger. The staff is friendly & attentive, even during peak hours. Nice location at the corner of Desjardins complex, overlooking St. Catherine Street & the Place des Arts.
The food tasted amazing & priced appropriately too. No pressure to leave & we took our time to enjoy the omelets. Had the Montreal omelette & it came with potatoes & watermelon & pineapple. The best potatos by far I've had at a diner style restaurant. Eggs were delicious too! Naturally the vibe was on point with stairs taking you to the second level.

Wish Toronto will have this restaurant too, the potato & egg omelets are very good. Even though it's a chain, they keep the food quality & the services are good.
Le plat etait simple mais bon rien d'extraordinaire alors que l'assiette elle meme s'appelle l'eggstraordinaire. . Service très chaleureux & la terasse est bien située.Pour les mordus de brunch comme moi , vous pouvez brunchef du jeudi au samedi jusqu'à 20h30.

Nous sommes allés manger au restaurant eggspectation du complexe Desjardins le 6 octobre 2014. Nous étions 4 amis & nous retrouvions là-bas. Lors de l'arrivé du premier de notre groupe, tout c'est bien passé, par contre, lorsque les autres sont arrivés, ils ont du chercher pendant quelques temps pour trouver la première personne, car les niveau des étages ne sont pas idéal pour cela, de plus qu'il n'y avait personne pour nous aider a l'entrée. Par la suite, lorsque tout le monde est arrivés, le serveur est venu prendre les commandes de boissons & ce n'est que 20 minutes plus tard que nous avons eus nos boissons. Il est donc a noter que c'est un restaurant très achalandé & que l'attente est donc longue, ce n'est donc pas recommandé pour un petit déjeuner vite fait. Nous précisons également que le restaurant est très bruyant, le fait qu'il soit a air ouverte & sur deux étages permet au bruit de circuler & d'être amplifier. Tout de même, nous avons relativement bien mangés & comprenons que l'achalandage du centre-ville est de façon général ce qui explique ce qui nous a le plus déçus.
