If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Absolutely delicious food & outstanding service. We were visiting from Florida & had to get breakfast here 2 days in a row. Highly recommend the omelettes, the egg benedicts, the yogurt bowl.
Such good value here. Great portion sizes, Hearty diner food, Just hits the spot. My wife & I were wandering around downtown Montreal, jumping from café to café, & they were all way too fancy. I don't want a tiny portion of caviar toastique for $43. I don't want a cucumber mint French toast for $97. I want a damned club sandwich, 5 eggs & a butter bagel. & maybe another 2 eggs when I'm done. As soon as we sat down here, we knew this was the spot.
Food took like 4 minutes to arrive at the table.

Un immense merci au gérant Paul & à notre serveur Maurice, qui ont été tout simplement incroyables. Paul a pris un soin particulier de ma grand-mère tout au long du repas, avec une attention sincère & bienveillante qui a vraiment touché notre famille. Maurice nous a offert un service impeccable, chaleureux & professionnel.
Toute l'équipe a été extraordinaire. Même une serveuse qui n'était pas assignée à notre table a pris l'initiative de nous offrir de prendre des photos pour immortaliser ce moment spécial.
On sent que le service est authentique & qu'il vient du coeur. Chaque détail a été pris en compte & nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus du début à la fin. Merci à toute l'équipe d'avoir rendu cette célébration encore plus mémorable. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

We visited this place with our small dog & they very kindly allowed her on the outdoor seating section. The food was excellent. We had the Veggie Omelette, Eggsuberant & the Chocolate Banana Crepe along with the Filtered Coffee which was refilled regularly! Would definitely recommend.
I got very shy & didn't say anything but the food was very dry & old. The bacon made me nauseous. I mostly just had the two poached eggs on toast & had to leave most of the meal. My server was extremely kind & did an amazing job on the service side of things. Food was awful, $35 should have been much better. Coffee watered down & mainly tasted like milk.
Had a wonderful brunch experience here! The French toast was perfectly golden & fluffy, & the scrambled eggs were soft & flavorful. The crepe was also delicious with a great balance of textures. Special thanks to Marc for his attentive & friendly service, he made us feel very welcome. Great food, cozy atmosphere, & excellent service. Will definitely come back again!
Unfortunately although I gave a good review before, I must change it now. Eggspectation was always a favourite of mine in the 90s, but now their potatoes are served dry & stale & my friend & I ordered their Eggspectation omelette - I asked the waitress not to include bacon but two seconds after I ordered she said the omelette was already'half done' which means it was sitting there for a while. Needless to say my friend & I both got severe food poisoning after the fact & although it's upsetting I will not be returning anytime soon.
